Chapter 12

Toni's p.o.v.

It's wednesday morning and we have morning practice .

After the practice coach called me to stay . We sood there alone on the field and he started talking .

'' Topaz I see something in you . The left wing is place where you are really important and it's also place where started Jason Blossom . I saw something in Jason and gave him number 9 because I prefer number nine . The same thing I see in you so I am here with you to give you this t-shirt with number 9 '' the coach said and gave me the t-shirt .

I gulped a little '' thanks coach this means a lot '' I said while looking at this t-shirt . Number 9 . Jason . God .

'' ok I got to go , see you Topaz '' he said and I nodded my head .

The hell Jason's t-shirt .

I can't be there I can't . I ran towards the locker room got my clothes and shoved it in my backpack . I threw the backpack on my back got number 9 in my hand and run out of the school .

I run throught the field so no one saw me .

I need to visit Jason I need to talk to him .

Cheryl's p.o.v.

I have with Toni my first three classes and he hasn't showed up . I saw him walking on football practice this morning so I know he was there .

I see Sweet Pea and I walked towards him .

'' Hey Sweet Pea , have you seen Toni he hasn't showed up but I know that he was at the morning practice '' I said he narrowed his eyebrow at me .

'' why do you care ? '' he asked looking at me the same Fangs .

'' because I care about him . Please Sweet Pea do you know anything ? '' I asked normally with no bitchy face .

'' ok well I don't know but I got this app to find location on his phone when he got drunk with me so I can tell you '' he said taking his phone from his pocket . He searched for a little and then looked at me confused .

'' he is on the rich side of graveyard  '' he said looking at me .

Jason

I thanked him quickly and ran off the school .

When I arrived at the rich side of graveyard I heard someone talking the voice so familiar but now filled with sadness .

''I-I j-just do-on't kn-now if I-I c-can '' Toni said facing Jasons grave and his back is facing me . He doesn't heard me . But I heard him and it seems like he is sniffling .

'' Toni ? '' I asked slightly rubbing his shoulder .

'' what are y-you doing h-here ? '' he asked still sniffling .

'' You weren't at any of your classes and I saw you walk in the morning on practice . Sweet Pea helped me to find you '' I said and he held his head still down .

'' come on what is bothering you ? '' I asked sitting next to him to find better view of his face . He has red puffy eyes and is looking still on his hands . In his hands he has t-shirt on football with number 9 .

'' is that what is bothering you ? '' I asked while pointing on the t-shirt . He just nodded his head .

'' I just can't replace him . He isn't someone who I want to replace '' He said . It's weird to see him like that without his walls up .

'' you won't replace him . I am sure that he is looking at you from heaven right now telling you how proud he is that you could have it . Take it from that point of view that the number 9 got someone who deserves it and who will do great job with it '' I said and that seemed to calm him down
