Ashlyn POV

When I woke up I began to get ready to go. I had to get to Anya and tell her about what the Sky People did. I woke Lincoln up before I left. I walked to the village.

-------------------Flashback---------------------

I was flipped into my back. I felt a sword on my neck. I looked up at Lexa. She gave me a confused look. I was going easy on her and she knew that. I kicked her feet from underneath her and grabbed my sword putting it to her neck. I sheathed my sword and put out my hand. She happily grabbed it and pecked my cheek.

"One of us will die in the Conclave." She said looking at me. " Not if we choose. " She furrowed her brows at me. "What?" " If we work together and we are the last two standing I will bow down to you. " I said looking into her eyes. She looked like she wanted to say something but decided against it. "Just don't die, ok?" She said hopefully. I nodded.

*A Year Later*

The Conclave

Someone went to attack Lexa from behind. Quickly I ran and stabbed them through the heart. There were few people left. Not long after me and Lexa were the only two left standing. She blew the horn to announce the winner. People came running up. When I saw enough people from each clan I bowed in front of Lexa.

She announced that I would be her second. Someone began to argue and I slit there throat. "Anyone else wish to question my decisions?" She yelled. She looked at me and smiled.

----------------Flashback-End------------------

When I arrived at the village and saw that Lincoln was right behind me. I must've really spaced out. We told Anya what had happened with the Sky People. Though Lincoln said that there was a solution. "I set up a meeting with the Skaikru leader." Wait. " You did WHat!?! " I yelled. They tortured us and now he wants to meet with them.

"We meet tommorrow. We can't bring weapons." I nodded before walking away. This wasn't going to go good. I knew Lincoln would tell me to come as well. I wasn't going to follow Skaikru rules. Lincoln couldn't expect me to do so.

--------------------Flashback--------------------

I felt a hand grab my small arm. "I know you can't survive down there but at least you can see the earth. It's better than bein g in a cell for the rest of you lives." A women's voice said to me.

" May we meet again. In the stars. " I sat down. "Why will I see you in the stars?" I asked . A sob escaped the woman. "I will be executed for this crime. We will meet again. Think of the stars little one."

The door of a pod closed and then it all went black.
