The phone rang in the other room, causing Cyrus to walk into the room and answer the phone after a few rings.

"How are you doing today, Ben?" Rossi asked nonchalantly.

Cyrus let out a breath. "I will release a child and one of the child experts if you tell me the identity of the FBI agent. I promise no harm will come to them from this point forward."

Rossi shook his head, letting out a breath. "I can't give you that information."

Cyrus raised a brow, counting on his plan. "I will send the child and the child expert now."

"Reid," Prentiss whispered, her eyes frantic.

"Go," Reid mumbled, looking at Cyrus.

Christopher nodded at Emily, and one of the agents spotted Prentiss and the child from afar. Hotch pointed at the agent and Morgan to pick them up. Derek gave Hotch his gun and got into the SUV with the other agent. Emily held the little girl's hand as Derek came out of the SUV and approached them.

Derek picked up the little girl, and Prentiss shook her head at him. He led them into the SUV, and Derek called out from his mic as he got into the truck.

"We got them, Hotch."

Rossi sighed. "We're taking a big risk here, Ben."

"Trust is earned," Cyrus said, looking over to make sure Christopher had locked the church door.

Once they went back to Hotch, Emily hugged them all as Derek led her inside the trailer. She kept quiet as Cyrus talked on the line with Rossi.

"Her name is Daniella Kenyon," Rossi said, looking over at Hotch. "She came in with 3 child service workers to talk to the girls."

Reid looked at Cyrus as he spoke to Rossi.

"There's a good chance we can work this out," Cyrus said. "I'm going to provide another sign of good faith."

Rossi nods. "You're doing a good thing here."

Cyrus hung up the phone and looked at Reid. He then turned to Christopher as he put the phone down.

"Assemble everyone in the chapel," Cyrus ordered. "Get Agent Kenyon down here."

Everyone was soon coming into the church, and Cyrus began to speak.

"It has come to my attention that some of our brothers and sisters have lost their faith in God," Cyrus said. "That they no longer love us. They want to abandon us.

Reid looked at everyone until Daniella came in and shrugged Cole off her. She was bruised and she looked at Cyrus.

"So when I call out your name, please stand."

Reid walked up to Daniella and she turned to him slightly, avoiding eye contact with him as she looked around.

"He looks pissed," she said, amusement in her voice. "What the hell is happening?"

Reid's eyes watered, and she gave him a small smile, nudging him unnoticeably.

"It's not as bad as it looks," she whispered. "I promise."

His heart shattered, and he kept his gaze on her. He wanted to help her, but if he tried, they would kill them both. He touched her bruise gently, and Daniella winced a bit.

"I'm so sorry," he whispered, his voice cracking.

She shook her head at him, and Cyrus walked up the aisle, reading off names on the list, not bothering to look their way.

"Sean Ebbins," Cyrus said, reading the list.

"Look at who he's releasing," she whispered, changing the subject.

"He released Emily," Reid whispered, his eyes still on her.

Daniella nodded. "Good."

"Wyatt Rayborn."

Spencer looked at Cyrus. "It's the ones who failed the loyalty test. I'll get a word from the team. Wait for a sign from outside to indicate what time the raid will come. "

"Lewis Farwell."

The kid stood up, and Spencer walked away from Daniella and walked up to Cyrus, who gave him a look.

"I told her if she hadn't lied, that the bruises wouldn't have happened to her," Reid lied.

Cyrus glared at her before turning to Reid. "To either of us."

He nodded at Cole, crumbling the paper in his hand. "Take her back."

There was blood on her shirt and she glared at Cyrus. Christopher grabbed her arm and took her upstairs. Reid watched her wince a bit before they took her upstairs.

"Those of you standing, please collect your belongings and report to the front hallway immediately," Cyrus said, walking back up to the temple.

Reid looked at everyone and let out a sigh. Some women and their children walked outside, along with a few men.

"We will surrender tomorrow at noon," Cyrus said to Rossi on the phone. "I want the press there to ensure that we're treated fairly."

Reid looked at him as Rossi turned to Hotch.

"We'll discuss the details on our 7 a.m call," Cyrus continued. "I'll see you then, Dave."

Rossi nodded. "I look forward to it."

"Oh, and one more thing," Cyrus said. "Could you send some food in?"

Derek rolled his eyes, clearly unimpressed, and Rossi shook his head.

"Sure, what would you like?" He asked.

"Fried chicken. All the fix-in's. "

Rossi took a deep breath. "You got it."

Cyrus hung up the phone, and they still continued to listen to the conversation.

Cole was impatient. "I don't understand. Why did you let them go? "

Reid put his hands in his pockets. "They weren't prepared to do what needed to be done."

Cole scoffed. "You're not one of us. You don't know what it takes to be prepared! "

Cyrus looked at Reid and then back at Cole.

"Listen to him, tell him."

"They failed the test," Reid said. "The-they had a chance to prove their faith when Cyrus told them that they'd sacrifice themselves for God. But instead they showed they weren't worthy.

Reid nods at Cyrus. "That's why he wants the media to bear witness to your true final act of sacrifice."

"How do you know that?" Cole asked.

Reid shrugged. "I'm always looking for signs of things to come."

Rossi turned to Hotch and Derek. "Reid's talking to us. He wants a sign when we're coming in. He's telling us this is it; time has run out. We've got to go in. "

Rossi stood up, and Hotch looked at the church to see people still walking towards them.
