Rival Teams

Jefferson High School. Saint Zachary's High School. Rivals. That's what they were. Jefferson High Schools Basketball Captain, TJ Kippen, and Saints Zachary's High School Captain, Buffy Discrol, have a competitive rivalry. With the team Captains being at odds with each other the rest of the players naturally followed suit. With Marty and Walker on TJ's team he was never not confident about winning against Saint Zachary's Basketball team. The Cheer teams also had a rivalry after the had begun trashing each other over social media.

"Babe?" Cyrus asked as he opened the blue cars door and sliding in next to his boyfriend. "Dose my make up look okay?" He asked as buckled the passenger seats seatbelt. He wore makeup everyday and it always looked like a professional had done it, but the Cheerleader still had a bit or low self-esteem.

TJ smiles brightly at how beautiful Cyrus looked and chuckled. "You always look more than fine. You always look perfect... even when you take your make up off at night or wake up without in the morning. You're flawless" TJ reassures Cyrus, leaning over and connecting their lips together in a loving kiss. "You're staying at my place tonight, right?" TJ asked his started the car.

Cyrus nodded an blushed. "Yeah. My mom said she didn't care... well, because 'it's not like I can get pregnant'. Her words, not mine" Cyrus says a bit sarcastically.

TJ and Cyrus laugh together and continue on their way to the school, simply talking about the day when on the way. "Well, here we are!" TJ says excitedly. He couldn't wait to beat Saint Zachary's, this would be the highlight of the Basketball season. They got out of the car and TJ grabbed ahold of Cyrus hand as he walked towards the front of school, right in front of the rival teams bus as they got off of it.

TJ had open the schools door for Cyrus to walk through before entering himself and heading towards the back hallway outside of the gym. They both got entered their the different changing rooms and kissed goodbye before the game.

Cyrus wasn't suppose to be in the girls locker room, but none of the cheerleaders care that he was a guy. He was gay! So he always changed with the rest of the cheerleaders in the girls changing room. He walked to the back with his cheer bag slung over his shoulder and smiled as he saw Andi and Jonah singing along to a Cardi B song. "How's my favorite thots doin' today?" Cyrus called out over their singing.

Jonah rolled his eyes and winked at Cyrus while Andi laughed loudly. "Says the one who's going home with the Basketball team Captain after this!" Andi teased him. Cyrus winks at both of them and sticks his tongue out. "At least I can get some!"

Jonah laughed at points at Andi who pretends to start crying and fanning her eyes. "How could you?!" She says dramatically. Cyrus sighs and pulls his pair of skinny jeans off, pulling his cheerleading skirt out from his bag. "Kiss my ass" Cyrus sasses as he pulled the light blue skirt up his legs before adjusting it. Jonah cat called at Cyrus, jokingly and Andi made kissy noises. Cyrus continued to get dressed and pulled TJ's old middle school hoodie over his head. He pulled the Cheer top over his head before pulling the blue and white shoes onto both his feet.
Andi stood and asked if they were all ready to which everyone nodded to. Cyrus went to the next row of lockers telling them all to get out to the gym and making sure no one was left before leaving himself.

TJ walked out the behind Cyrus from the boys locker room and sneak up behind him, grabbing the Jewish boys sides and lifting his up in the air. Cyrus screamed and looked down at TJ before catching his breath. TJ places Cyrus down and let's the other jump on his back for a piggy back ride into the gym. Everyone in the stands stopped talking to look at the two before they all cheered and clapped while their rival teams and students rolled their eyes at them.

"There's your Basketball and Cheer captains for Jefferson High School. TJ Kippen and Cyrus Goodman!" The announcer say proudly. It was some sophomore that worked with the school journalism class that wrote the sports section. Cyrus slide off TJs back and gave him a kiss before the blonde ran onto the court and lined up with his team. "Please stand for the pledge of allegiance" the sophomore announced, almost everyone standing to face the flag with their hand over their hearts as they said the pledge.

"-liberty and justice for all. Amen" Everyone says in sync before taking their seats again. Before they knew it, the game was half way done and Buffy Driscol was in the lead with her team by 3 points.

The whistle blows and everyone looks around. "Half time!". TJ groans and looks at the score board as he heads off the court. Cyrus rushes to him and hands him a bright pink water bottle. "Here. You can drink from mine" Cyrus says gently to him. TJ take a deep breath and let's it out before nodding his head and taking the bottle from his boyfriends hands. After a long drink of water TJ gasps for air and then places a kiss onto Cyrus forehead. "How'd I get so lucky to have you?" TJ teased.

Cyrus rolls his eyes before sighing and tilting his head. "I don't know, Kippen. I really don't know" Cyrus says sarcastically. He feels TJ Kiss his cheek before the basketball player runs toward the back exit of the gym and towards the locker rooms. Cyrus grabs Andi and Jonah as the pep band begins to play some music and sets them down on the front row of bleachers reserved for them. "Okay. We've got only five minutes, run free!" Cyrus jokes as he finishes the cheer squad to go do whatever it is they needed to do.

Cyrus patiently waited for the cheer squad and made sure his nails were the light baby blue he'd painted them earlier. When he was convinced that they weren't chipped he looked up to do the head count. Someone was missing. Andi.

"Where's Andi?" Cyrus asked Jonah. Jonah shrugged his shoulders at Cyrus just as Andi enter the gym once again, jogging her way over to the bleachers. She had a very apparent blush on her cheeks and she looked at a loss for words. The two boys made eyes contact after seeing her messy state and smirked. They didn't ask her what happened... they already knew that she had meet someone.

Cyrus, Andi, and Jonah got the Cheer team to cheer instead of paying attention to the score for a bit. There was only 5 seconds left when the looked back at the game.
They had they ball and they were were tied with saint Zachary's High school. Walker had the ball and he jumped, slamming the Basketball through the net. Everyone cheered and Jonah ran to his boyfriend to hug him. Almost every cheerleader went to someone on the basket ball team.

Cyrus had ran to TJ and hugged him. "You did it! I knew you'd win!" He says as TJ kisses the top of his head. "It's all thanks to my lucky charm" TJ teased Cyrus as the other pulled back and TJ bopped his finger against the end of Cyrus nose. "My lucky Cyrus Goodman".

TJ and Cyrus didn't bother returning to the showers after the game, just like most of their friends didn't. They just grabbed their bags from the locker rooms and made sure they had everything before leaving the school building. TJ layer his jacket against Cyrus' shoulders and wrapped his arms around the boys waist, pulling him as close to him as he could get him. It was cold outside and the cheer top was basically like a crop top with the cheer skirt barely even covering the top of his thighs. They made their way out to TJ's car together stopping when they saw Andi and another girl kissing in The Mack's car.

It wasn't the fact that Andi was a girl, the knew Andi was a lesbian, it was the girls cheer uniform. She had blonde hair that feel against her orange and red cheer top and she seemed a little to invested into it, if you know what I mean. They knew Marty from the Party was dating thief rival teams captain, Buffy, but this was new.

"I think that's my cousin!" TJ says in surprise as he tries walking towards Andi's car. Cyrus pulls TJ back and heads towards the jocks own car. "We have our own make out session to attend at your apartment. If we waste time we'll be late" Cyrus jokes. They entered the car and TJ starts the car before replying.

TJ smirks and bits his lip, "I think we have more than a make out session planed for my apartment tonight, Muffin"
