While Cheryl had chosen to stay with Josie McCoy, whom her twin didn't like much, Cleo had opted to stay with her best friend, Midge Klump. "Are you sure you're okay, Cece?" Cleo rolled over in the California-King sized bed to face Midge, smiling at the nickname. "I will be, M, eventually. For now, I just wanna hang-out with you and binge Criminal Minds." Midge laughed, scrolling through Netflix until she found the show that featured Cleo's feature career, a criminal psychologist. Cleo had already taken an FBI internship this past summer and was in contact with Caltech University in California, Spencer Reid's college and one of the top-ten in the world.

"Cece, stop drooling over Derek Morgan."

"M, thanks for letting me borrow your clothes since all my clothes, you know, are burnt to a crisp," Cleo shouted over her shoulder, rifling through Midge's closet for an outfit to wear. Snatching a mauve tank with a black leather jacket since it was still winter, Cleo tugged on a pair of high-waisted skinny jeans and mauve thigh-high boots. "Oka- damn, I have good taste." Midge appraised her clothing on Cleo, nodding in an impressed manner before holding up her finger to say hold on. Walking over to her jewelry box, Midge pulled out a thin black velvet choker and walked behind Cleo, fastening it on her silently. "Ooo, yes. Now, let's do your hair and makeup." Midge was already in a jean skirt, tan knee-high heeled boots, and a long-sleeved white v-neck.

Forcing the redhead into the vanity chair, Midge expertly pulled Cleo's hair into a slightly messy updo, leaving a few strands on each side to frame her face. "Do you ever miss having long hair?" Midge sighed, starting in on doing a mauve based makeup look. "All the time. But, I actually really like having my hair short. You're hairs so gorgeous though, don't ever chop it off." Cleo promised she wouldn't, puckering her lips for Midge to apply the lipstick. Their close proximity was suddenly very noticeable, eyes locked on each other's lips as they slowly grew closer, the ringing of Cleo's phone interrupting before they could touch.

Midge jumped back, Cleo releasing a breath she hadn't realized she was holding until she pressed the answer button. "Hey, sis," Cheryl spoke quickly on the other line, asking her and Midge to pick up both her and Josie. "Yeah, we'll leave right now. Love you too." Taking a steadying breath, Cleo slid the phone into her back pocket and turned to face Midge, who she was fairly certain had been staring at her ass. "Uh, are you ready to go?" Midge nodded, following Cleo down to her candy-apple-red 1969 Chevy Camaro with black pinstripes. The car held all sorts of memories, both good and bad, but she loved it. Cheryl got the Impala that had once belonged to Jason, so Cleo had gotten to pick out her own dream car. Cleo liked two things in this world, cars, and art.

Cleo hopped into the driver's seat, revving the engine and grinning like a maniac at her favorite sound. Midge laughed at her, the tension from a few minutes ago evaporating into thin air. "Hold on tight, M." Sending a wink to Midge, Cleo threw the car in gear and floored it, laughter flowing through the open windows as she sped down the streets to Josie's. Once Cleo reached her house, she immediately saw Josie and Cheryl standing by the road, the latter smiling at her sister's driving. Midge hopped out of the car, pulling her seat forward so Cheryl and Josie could climb into the back before she got back in herself.

Fiddling with the radio, Cleo found a cover of Halestorm singing I hate myself for loving you, a song originally sang by Joan Jett and The Black Hearts. Cheryl and Cleo locked eyes in the rearview mirror instantly, grins on their faces as they broke out in song. Soon enough everyone in the car was singing right into the next song, Hotel California, and it was just finishing up when they pulled into the school parking lot. Cleo separated from the other girls, heading to her first class, English.

Two classes later, Cleo's final class before lunch was luckily her favorite, Art. Cleo did so well in the class that her teacher, Mrs. Acker, let her do whatever she wanted. Today, like most days, Cleo had chosen to take her sketch pad outside after swinging by the lunch room to pick up the bag lunch her favorite lunch lady, Linda, always made up for her. She wasn't sure why, but for some reason, Cleo found herself driving towards the South Side until she found what she wanted.

Putting her car in park, Cleo was encaptured by a girl with pink hair outside of the Whyte Wyrm. Maybe it was creepy, but Cleo started drawing her with a piece of charcoal like her life depended on it. Then Cleo's hands included the two boys beside the pink-haired girl in the drawing, her eyes widening in surprise when she recognized the next boy to exit the bar, their eyes meeting.  Cleo shut her sketch-book with a smile, hopping out of her Camaro and walking towards her beanie-wearing friend.

The tallest boy of the group hit the shorter one and the girl Cleo had been drawing, nodding his head in the redhead's direction. "Northsider's aren-" Cleo cut the boy off, hands on her curvaceous hips. "Welcome here, I know. I'm not here for you, Sweetheart. I'm here for Jug," The boy she'd called Sweetheart looked extremely surprised when she stood up for herself in such a nonchalant tone, the other two smirking at her while Jughead chuckled. "Cleo, this is Fangs, Sweet Pea, and Toni." Cleo's eyes widened in the slightest when Toni sauntered up to her, glancing at the black dust on the Blossom's hand before shaking it slowly anyway. The redhead finally gained back her voice, smirking down at the slightly shorter girl.

"Cleodora Blossom,"
