Ikuta Mei and her friends are quietly entering the Iwatobi SC. It was new and improved since the last time they had saw it 8 years ago. They heard the old one was torn down and then a new one was rebuilt a few months ago. They always raced against Iwatobi when they attended Sano Elementary.
"I wonder if we can see the new pool! They should let us in right?", the dark haired boy says while gazing his brown eyes around the area. Kojima Haruki.
He gets a slap on the back by another boy slightly taller than Haruki. Brown hair. Beautiful blue eyes. Fukushima Kaoru. "Don't worry your little head about it! I'm sure they will! You always worry Kaoru! Man up!"
Once again, another boy enters the picture. The same height as Haruki. Dark hair, black eyes. No real expression on his face at the moment. "Oi. Stop it you two. You realize you left Mei behind right?"
The two boys stare dumbfounded as they left their most important friend behind. A girl who looks exactly like the boy with the dark hair. Her hair is longer than his hair but they do indeed look so similar.
"You Ikuta twins. You are so slow! Especially you Osumu. ", Kaoru teases.
"Well your name does fit your personally well actually.", Haruki adds. Osumu grunts. Mei sighs and joins her twin brother.
"Sometimes, you boys are too much for me to handle. I feel like I'm your mother...", Mei complains. Haruki and Kaoru laugh. Osumu smiles in satisfaction at his sister. They all laugh together as they enter the doors.
A few rows of pictures are right across from the front desk. No one is there right now actually. The 4 teens circle around the pictures and look at them for a while. Mei spots a picture with a familiar face on it.
"Oi! Osumu! Look it's our cousin!", Mei shouts. Osumu immediately joins his sister and looks into the picture of the 4 young boys. Mei remembers them all as well. "Nanase Haruka... Um... Tachibana Makoto, Hazuki Nagisa, and our cousin Rin!"
"I remember now. We raced them a lot in the past huh? It was always one of us who would end up in an individual event with them. I would always race Tachibana. You, either Rin or Nanase-kun.", Osumu says. Mei remembers as as clear as day. Her specialty was the front crawl or butterfly. It would be so close with Rin and her. They are so equal in speed.
Haruki and Kaoru call Mei and Osumu. "Hey guys. Is this your cousin too? But he looks awfully large." Mei and Osumu run over to the picture. 'Large? Like overweight?! Oh no! Not him!', Mei shouts in her head. But then they get to the picture, he is large but...
Mei's facial expression changes to super surprised. "Is that- that Rin?! He has gotten so big!! And, so has the other 3! Maybe not Nagisa so much but still!"
Osumu, Kaoru, and Haruki all are very muscular. They go to the gym every weekend and then every day of the week, jog 2 miles with Mei. But to see how big the others have gotten, really shocks Mei. But one unfamiliar fellow catches Mei's eye.
"Who's the dude in the glasses?", Haruki asks. Kaoru chuckles.
"He looks kind of like a nerd.", Kaoru says. Osumu jabs him in the ribs.
"That isn't nice. You know, I can call you many things, 'Boy Wonder'." Osumu knows how much of a teen manga or comic fan he is. Kaoru understands English completely and loves the 'Batman' comics. Of course his favorite character is Robin thus the nickname Osumu calls him to annoy him.
"Gah! Shut up Osumu.", Kaoru complains. Haruki smiles and laughs. Mei does the same. The 4 teens keep glancing at the pictures. Another familiar face pops into Mei's mind that makes her sad actually. Osumu notices her expression and looks to the picture.
"Uncle Matsuoka...", Osumu mutters.
"This guy was like a father to us. I knew he swam, but I never saw it. He wanted to become a famous Olympic swimmer. But, he didn't... I would like to achieve that dream for him. But, if I can't, I want to continue swimming forever... With you guys.", Mei smiles as she finishes. The 3 boys smile and gather in for a group hug.

Personally: Mei is an outgoing yet quiet girl. She loves hanging out with her 3 friends by only them. She teases her bother a lot but he doesn't mind it. The only weakness she has is how much she keeps her emotions locked up inside.

Likes: Poking fun at the guys. Especially Osumu. Watching Dramas, swimming and racing against others, music.

Age: 17
Height: 5' 9"
Weight: 155 lbs
Personally: Quiet but persistent. His name means discipline and he will enforce that by his own name. Only to Kaoru and Haruki. He loves to mess around with Kaoru the most.
Dream: He wants to major in business or become a Olympic swimmer like his sister.
Likes: Sulking. Making fun of Kaoru and Haruki. Swimming with Mei. Talking to Mei in general.
Dislikes: Spicy foods, raccoons, music.
