Osumu's POV

I held it all in. My tears, my sadness, any sad emotion I felt. I kept it in. The only thing I could do, is punch the walls, and wonder why? Why was Mei out that late? Where did she go? Why did she not call anyone... Or better question, why didn't I answer the text she sent me... I know this is all my fault... I won't blame Sousuke as much as I blame myself.

There are so many dents on the wall in my room. It used to be both me and Mei's room. Her bed is still placed perfectly where she left it. Her blanket is neatly folded on the end of her bed. It makes me think about the happy times we have had with each other.

" Hey ! Osumu! Let's go! I want to get to the festival in time! You know how long I have been waiting right?" Mei complains. I promised to take her to a festival with me if she actually won against me in a race. Of course she won. I'm not as good as she was. She tugged on my sleeve and looks at me with pleading eyes. Even though we are twins, she acts as if I'm the boss. Like she has to ask me before she does something. I remember how much she looked up to me... Once again, we are the same age... So I'm not so sure... Why she made me boss...

Someone knocks in the front door. As I slowly walk to answer it, I can hear quiet sobbing. Odd... I'm guessing I was one of the boys. But, as I reach to open the door, I could have sworn I have heard someone screaming. I yank the door open and my eyes widen.

"Rin? Why are you crying?" I solemnly ask. He hands me a piece of paper and mutters, "It's from Mei..."

I immediately snatch the paper out of his hands and shove it in my face. No.. It can't be... She's... She's...

Gone. I know... I might be surprising you with this, Osumu, but it is important to let you know a few things.

I turn my head around to see, Mei... Her glowing spirit standing before me. It was like she was real, but... She wasn't..  I wanted to hold her in my arms but, I couldn't. I wanted to hold her and cry. But I couldn't. There is so many things I want to do but I can't...

Read the letter Osumu. After that, I will tell you something. She says that with a smile.
