The steady drumming of Yukine's fingers resounded in one of the meeting rooms of the police station. His impatience was clear to see in his eyes and met the cause when he finally entered the room.

Annoyed he stared at the culprit. "First you write me a message that we absolutely have to meet up here and THEN you arrive late?" the police officer asked plainly irritated by the owner of those blue eyes that make his life so difficult. Fortunately or unfortunately – it was a matter of the viewing point and even Yukine couldn't decide which one it was.

Smiling apologetically Yato sat down in a chair across from Yukine. "You know...traffic in this town is terrible."

"You have a car?" This was a new information. Until know Yato had appeared out of nowhere and his shabby tracksuit wasn't speaking in favor for Yato's financial resources.

Therefore he wasn't surprised when he received a shake of the head as an answer. "Too loud. This isn't my style. I prefer to sneak up." The spark in Yato's eyes worried Yukine, without knowing the exact reason behind it.

Quickly he tried to dissolve this feeling. "Alright. Why am I here?" he directly asked the question he was deeply interested in. For Yato to voluntarily start to work was more than unusual. Normally it was Yukine's task to tell Yato when and where they start their day of work.

Wrong question. Yato's eyes sparked more instead of less. Did someone hit Yato on the head too strong this morning? This motivation created discomfort in Yukine. "Well, I thought it was time to talk about our future methods of working together. We have gathered enough information and forgot to work on our teamwork while gathering it."

Yukine sized Yato up. His behavior got more and more alarming. "Why should we talk about our method? Should we have the possibility to detain the assassin we – or more accurately I – will follow the orders of the head of operations."

"That is nor how it will happen," Yato replied and rolled his eyes in mock annoyance. "If this murderer only suspects the police to be close to catching him, he will disappear right away. However if we two can surprise him..."

"There will be no 'we two'. You are just here as a consultant and won't be included with the arrest," Yukine interrupted him irritated. Yato seemed to be sure of himself, as if it could only end in this way.

What did Yato? He just waved in disagreement. Just like that. Who does he think he is? To top of the whole thing Yato believed he could give a comment to this situation. "Yeah, yeah. Whatever you say Mr. police officer. However I can assure you it will result in this outcome. No matter how much you fight it."

For one moment Yukine thought about dragging Yato to a psychologist to declare him as insane. The advantages were striking. After all the police can't have a lunatic working for them. At least Yukine was convinced about it and even Yato had only shattered this believe slightly.

"How about turning back to the original topic of this meeting: Our methods," Yato continued the technically finished conversation. "We can't simply walk into the hide-out of our enemy without some plans, signs and tactics. That would be suicide."

With a loud sigh Yukine yielded. This idiot wouldn't give in, so Yukine wanted to get over with it. "And what do you propose?" he asked and hoped for it to be a short talk.

Yato's eyes sparked enthusiastically. "I didn't thought you would give in that quickly. I had already prepared some good arguments. All in vain."

Immediately Yukine's pulse raged with anger. The words quick and easy obviously weren't known to Yato or he successfully ignored them. However somehow Yukine was pulled in by this hated attributes and he hadn't found an escape route yet.
