first day

Ruby's pov

I find myself on an airship to beacon sitting in the back when a tall blonde girl walks up to me "ruby" she says to me "how do you know my name" i ask "its me yang" she says almost crying i then realize who she is "im sorry i don't know who you are" i lie and she gets really sad "oh im sorry you just look a lot like my sister and your name is the same as hers" she says sitting down next to me "oh did something happen to her" i ask "yes when she was four she wandered off when i wasn't looking and never came back if i just payed attention she wouldn't be gone" yang says beginning to cry "hey its alright you can't blame yourself" i say trying to get her to stop crying "that's what everyone says but its hard" she says "well we are almost there so you should stop crying don't want people to think your a crybaby do ya" i say to her "i guess you're right" she says and the ship begins to land as a kid starts vomiting "well that's gross" yang says seeming to have calmed down "yeah its rather pathetic you think someone excepted here would be able to handle flying" i say "well lets get off it smells bad in here now" yang says "yeah lets" i say as we walk off onto the schoolyard "well my friends are here see you later" yang says before walking off with a group of people and i begin to walk around until i run into the woman from before "hello ruby its good to see you showed up" she says "yes may i ask what your name is" i say "its glynda goodwitch" she says "alright good to know" i say "well i shall inform ozpin of your arrival try to make some friends" she says before walking off "I'll try" i yell to her then a girl with white hair approaches me "why was mrs. Goodwitch talking to you" she asks "she wasn't sure if i would be here or not so she came to say hi" i explain "and aren't you a little young to be at beacon" she says snarkily "well to be honest im only here because ozpin asked i wasn't planning on coming" i say "ozpin asked you to come that must mean your strong" she says "i would say so" i say "what weapon do you use" she asks "i don't use a weapon" i say "are you an idiot you'll get yourself killed" she says "no im not an idiot my name is ruby what's yours" i ask "weiss schnee airess to the schnee dust company" a girl answers for her i look over and see a tall black haired girl "oh ok thanks for that" i say to the girl "although i wouldn't call it a good company to be an air for considering the terrible way they treat their workers and many other shady business practices" the girl finishes "hey" weiss shouts then the girl walks away and i decide to follow "why are you following me" she asks "you seem interesting" i say and i notice her bow twitch a small bit "what do you mean by that" she asks "well for one you seem to have some secrets and those are always fun" i say "i don't have secrets" she says "oh yeah then what's this" i say poking her bow hitting something underneath she then grabs me and takes me somewhere without people "how did you know" she asks seriously "im perceptive" i say "you can't tell anyone" she says "fine although its not that big of a deal its not like you're apart of the white fang" i say and she freezes for a second "oh my now this is interesting" i say "im not with them anymore i left that life" she says panicking "yeah to be honest i don't care the white fang is just a bunch of weaklings grouping together to seem less weak" i say "you don't know what you're talking about some members of the white fang are incredibly strong" blake says "oh like adam" i say and she tenses up at the mention of his name "how do you know adam" she asks "oops well lets just say we all have our secrets" i say and she looks at me suspiciously "will all students report to the main hall" ozpin says through the speakers "well i guess we should go" i say "yeah we should" she says and we walk to the main hall where ozpin gives his speech but i just ignore him and follow everyone to the lunchroom where we will be sleeping "hey ruby how was your day" yang asks "it was alright what about you" i ask her "it was good" yang says making herself comfy on her sleeping bag and i do the same until i get a call on my scroll "hello mother" i say answering it "hello how was the first day" mom asks "it was alright not much happened" i say "no one found out did they" she asks "no but there is someone here that i never expected" i say "who" she asks seriously "i can't tell you where i am let me go somewhere else" i say before walking out of the lunchroom "alright im good now" i say "alright now who did you run into" she asks "i ran into yang" i say "oh that is concerning does she suspect anything" she asks "when we first met she thought i was her but i was able to convince her otherwise" i explain "good if anyone in your family  finds out your identity it won't end well" she says "yeah i just wish i used a different name" i say "well you should go back don't want to draw suspicion" mom says "ok i will go back" i say "bye" she says "bye i say back before hanging up "you should be going to sleep" ozpin says appearing next to me "yes i will i was just on the phone with my mother" i say "ok well you have a big day tomorrow you should get some rest" he says "alright goodnight then" i say walking back in the room "what was that about" yang asks "that was my mother she wanted to talk but i couldn't with people around" i say "oh what's your mother like" yang asks "well she is quite serious but at the same time very caring and if she wanted she could single handedly kill everyone in this room at once" i say calmly "sounds intense" yang says "yeah she's the best" i say "well im going to bed" yang says "yeah me to" and we both lay down and go to bed
