Ruby's pov

After waiting a few hours i begin to carve the horsemen symbol on the wall and making fire then a guard runs in about to shoot me but i light him on fire and put him in the center of the symbol walking out of the cell seeing two more guards asleep on chairs "wow they pay you well for this don't they" i say before walking around finding my way around seeing a map of remnant with some pins on it one at the location of the former winter maiden and another in the forest of mistral two more sit on the side of the map "well that is indeed helpful but this map is all wrong" i say before crossing out atlas and vacuo and taking off the pin at the winter maiden "that's better" i say continuing to walk along the strangely empty hallway "i wonder where the ambush is" i say skipping down the hall until i approach a large room hearing shuffling from inside it "you're gonna have to try harder than that" i say walking out in the room getting shot at from all angles i duck down and speed around the room killing everyone "all of that for nothing" i say looking around "man where am i" i say then i see a window on the ceiling "oh there we go" i say jumping up stabbing my scythe in the wall and flipping up stabbing it again higher up i continue this until i reach the ceiling jumping through the window finding myself on the roof of beacon "well i should go back before mother sends the rest" i say jumping down and going back to mother

"hello" i say walking in and mother stands up walking over to me "that was very foolish" she says "i am sorry mother" i say expecting to get hit and she lifts my face moving it around checking me "what's happening" i ask "you have cuts on your face did they do something to you" she asks concerned "oh no i jumped out a window they couldn't do things to me if they tried" i say "why don't you use your aura" she asks "it feels good i don't fell pain often" i say "no i don't like that" she says "like what" i ask "you liking pain that's not a thing you want for yourself now use your aura" she commands and i do "good now you may never purposely hurt yourself" she says "yes mother" i say "so did you find anything out" she asks "yes i found the location of the summer maiden" i say "where" she asks "the forest around mistral" i say "and what about spring" she asks "it seems she has fallen off the grid only two know her location that i know of" i say "and who would these two be" she asks "her daughter and brother" i say "they would be difficult to get a hold of" she says "exactly" i say "well the rest of your team is asleep right now" she says "and where are the others" i ask "they are on missions" she says "then i guess it's just us right now" i say "it has been awhile" she says "i would like to talk but i am rather tired right now" i say "we can speak tomorrow if you would like but sleep is important" she says "will you sleep with me" i ask "i haven't done that since you were eight what brings this on now" she asks "because it has been awhile since we were together longer than a couple minutes" i say "fine but your team may make fun of you" she says "honestly that would be a good thing they're a little to professional around me sometimes" i say "well from what i have seen you act different while working to" she says "i guess that's true" i say "well lets go to bed then" she says and we walk to my room and fall asleep

I wake up and to my surprise mother is still asleep and i sneak out of bed going to the meeting hall seeing the rest of my team "ruby your back" teal says as they walk over to me "yeah i got out last night" i say "where is salem" pitch asks "she is asleep" i say "she sleeps" lilac asks "yes she does but usually its only when everyone else is sleeping" i say "oh then what changed today" teal asks "she slept in my bed" i say "oh is your bed that comfortable" pitch asks "its a pretty nice bed" i say "fitting for a princess" lilac says "what does that mean" i ask "well salem is like the queen and that makes you a princess" she says "well that means a lot coming from a goddess" i say "shut up that was the worst" she says "at least you weren't locked in a cell for five years" pitch says and they look to teal "mine isn't as bad" teal says "wait now that i think about it i don't know your ages" pitch says "fourteen" i say "eight" teal says "twelve" lilac says "well im fifteen and there is no way in hell you are eight" pitch says turning to teal "why not" she asks "you're smarter than all of us" pitch says "im a fast learner" she says "you're older than us" lilac asks pitch "i guess i am although i feel ruby is oldest in spirit" she says "well i guess we are the youngest group of murderers to exist" i say "yeah" they all say happily
