"Table for three" said the tannish boy that was smirking at me. I quickly grabbed the menus and put them right in Ashton's section. I know, I did think he was cute and stuff, but I told myself I'm not going to be in another relationship because I don't want it to be my just like my last one...
"Hey Anna, are you okay?" Ashton asked me while I was lost in my train of thought. " oh yeah, um is it okay you get these tables over here?" I asked quietly. " yeah sure, but when I come over tonight you better tell me why" ashton said with a concerned face. Yes yes ashton fletcher Irwin is my best friend and I'm so grateful for it. He treats me like a little sis and I love him so much:) he's always there for me especially since my family is in England and I never see them.
"Angela" said mama S "I'm not paying you to daydream come on" she yelled.
I quickly went to my tables and took their orders, but everytime I looked in the direction of luke, they were snickering and looking at me. I mean things like this don't usually happen, but I'm starting to get really annoyed...
Ashton could tell my frustration with the boys because he kept on giving me reassuring looks, but I could also see his jaw clenching everytime he heard them talking. " Ashton are you okay?" I asked after I saw his knuckles were white. " it's fine Anna just don't talk to them okay, all they want to do is to fuck you and that isn't gonna happen to my best friend" ashton said with his jaw clenched.
" Ashton, we all know I'm not dating after that whole incident with Josh, okay?" I say with a smile. He grabs me into a hug and I instantly feel better.
After hugging ashton, which is literally the best hugger ever I felt three stares burning into my back. As I looked back I saw luke also clenching his jaw, but I don't care really, I just have two more hours till I can go home.
I worked so hard, I didn't actually realize it was time for my shift to end... Ashton grabbed his keys and we both walked out into his car. " Did you pick what movie you want to watch tonight?!" Ashton asked excitedly. " maybe lets watch divergent for THEO JAMES" I screamed. " Anna we've watched that like 50 times, lets watch captain america" ashton suggests.
we finally arrive at the apartment complex, and we both walk in the elevator. We finally get to our level and I see Luke standing in front of my apartment door...
he finally notices that Ashton is with me, and his face hardens. Ashton like he always is casually pulls me toward my door and unlocks the door for us to go in, right when I'm about to slam the door, a foot prevented me to. And yes it's the same black vans which obviously belonged to Luke.
" Anna don't... Remember it's the movie night we always do come on remember what I told you at the diner" ashton says. " Ashton, give me 5?" I say. " Anna I told you all he wants to do is to fuck you, you know what... I don't want to watch the movie see you at work" as ashton stomps out the room. " ASHTON..." I yell down the hall.
" I have a lot of explaining to do Angela, just give me 5 minutes..." Luke says.
" fine" as I lead him into my apartment.
" I know I've been acting like a douche and I get it, my friends were joking with me at the diner and I'm sorry." Luke says. " I mean we don't actually know each other so it doesn't matter okay luke?" I say. I could see his fake dropped a little but he recovered quickly with a smile.
" wanna watch a movie, since your movie buddy left?" Luke suggests with a wink.
" sure" i replied. I don't know why but letting Luke more into my life gave me a feeling that I don't know how to describe it, but it felt good to let go and to let a complete stranger meet me, only me, I wasn't in control but just doing Unexpected things that excited me.
