Chara: So, it's been around three months since we've defeated Bete Noire, but even with our victory, we had some losses: Sans eventually died because of his "Fallen Down" state and Determination, everyone - especially Gaster - is trying to get over that; Undyne is still trying to handle the guilt of accidentally killing Alphys; Papyrus and Jessica Grey died, too. But, at least Toriel and Asgore have Asriel back. So some things are looking up...
(After this dialogue, in the cave where Agate Lightvale died, Betty is reborn in a flash of light exactly how she coded herself to be: Completely human, along with having a new purpose, which was to help monsters and humans live peaceful lives together, and she has her own soul (not Agate's like last time). However, what she isn't aware of is that Determination also comes into the mix, which isn't part of her new code...)
Betty: Wait, that worked? Well, there are no glitches in this timeline... I still have the new code... yep, everything's exactly how I planned out to be.
(A strange orange light comes from behind Betty, along with some strange noises.)
Betty: Except for that, whatever that is...
(As Betty turns a corner, she witnesses the event of Agate Lightvale being revived (by the game, because the game glitched and now always required a checksum despite Betty fixing the glitches) and turns back around, unnoticed by Agate)
Betty: Well, game, if that's the case... looks like I'm going to need their help, whether they'll take it or not.
(Meanwhile...)
Asriel: So what do you plan on doing now that everything's resolved, again, Chara?
Chara: I dunno, probably just go out on a walk or something. Do you want to come?
Asriel: Oh, yeah, sure!
Gaster: Mind if I tag along, you two? I just think it would help resolve some of the grief from all these deaths that have been occurring.
Chara: Of course you can come with us, Gaster.
(The door to the house is suddenly opened. Everyone is surprised to see Jessica Grey standing in the doorway.)
Asriel: Jessica Grey?!
Chara: But I thought you...
(Everyone pauses as Gaster runs over to Jessica and hugs her, with surprise filling the room.)
Jessica: I... I know I'm back, but I'd like it if no one asked me why. It would... take a lot of confusing explanations.
Gaster: That's fine. As long as you're back.
(From a distance, Betty watches this scene and smiles warmly, seeming glad that she has fixed at least one thing already in this timeline.)
