(Agate sits in an abandoned wooden house, far from the city. She stares at the souls she had already collected before running into Betty, all of them infected with HATE. Knowing she had no use for the HATE except to get the Determination soul she wanted, she breaks every soul in her possession.)
Agate: This HATE... Ugh! It just gets on everything! At this rate, every soul I collect will be infected in a matter of minutes... Alright, Agate, calm down. Remember what you're here for and what your mission is. Besides, I don't even need these souls anymore. I have my full power ready. I just don't want to use it until I defeat Betty. She's a real threat to my plan... ah, no matter. After all, once I kill her... the Determination soul in this era WILL BE MINE.
(Meanwhile, Betty, Frisk, Chara, Sans, Papyrus, Gaster, and Jessica are preparing to initiate the first part of their plan to defeat Agate.)
Jessica: Alright, I have my field suit and the modified AMR. Are we ready to go?
Chara: Yes. Toriel, Asgore, Undyne, Alphys, and Asriel should already be evacuating people to the school.
Frisk: Let's just hope that will never be a place that Agate attacks...
Chara: Yeah, true.
Gaster: Well then. This battle will prove to be very interesting.
Betty: Let's go. Sans, can you teleport us to the rendezvous point?
Sans: Can do.
(Sans teleports himself, Frisk, Chara, Betty, Gaster, Papyrus, and Jessica near Agate's location.)
Sans: (under breath) Frisk, you better hope I don't get bone tired before we do the thing...
Papyrus: Sans, stop making puns. This is serious.
Sans: Hey, who said I couldn't?
(Agate appears in front of the group. Unbeknownst to everyone else, she's aiming for Chara's Determination soul, not realizing that Frisk also has one, due to the fact that there should be only one Determination soul in one time period.)
Agate: Hmph. You're all in my way.
Frisk: Yeah. And we're not moving, either.
Agate: Fine then. I'll simply make you.
(Agate throws a spear at Chara, but Betty switches to her Determination trait and blocks it with her shield.)
Chara: Thanks, Betty.
Betty: No problem.
(As Gaster, Sans, and Papyrus continue fighting Agate, Jessica readies her AMR.)
Jessica: (You better hope these modifications work, Rave...)
(Jessica shoots a beam from the AMR at Agate as she's about to fire a huge fireball at Sans and Papyrus. The beam hits Agate before she can fire her weapon and nullifies her magic.)
Jessica: *sighs in relief* (You're lucky. They do work.)
Gaster: Right on cue, Jessica. Papyrus, plan status?
Papyrus: Still all going as planned!
(Betty begins holding Agate at bay with her Determination weapons, and Frisk and Sans prepare for their special attack.)
Agate: (Betty's soul... it's not like any other. Its power... I need it...)
(Agate pushes Betty back with a magic blast, then proceeds to attack her, before Papyrus hits her with his bone.)
Jessica: Sans, Frisk, now!
(Frisk gives his soul to Sans, allowing Sans to use his special attack without getting tired. He then turns to Agate.)
