"So, what's the deal with you and the sophomore?" G asked once she closed her locker. Laina was leaning on the one beside her, raising her gaze from the book she was currently buried in so she could glare at her. "Yeah, usually when someone asks you a question, you respond with words. Isn't that right, Danny?"

"Usually." He waited for a moment. "So...what is going on with you and Allison?"

"What the hell are you guys talking about?" Laina looked up from her book in annoyance, eyebrows furrowing. "Nothing is going on."

Danny sent the girl a pointed look. "Don't give me that look. I know she and Scott have a thing but, it's like every time you come in the room, she can't take her eyes off you."

Laina remained unwavering. "No idea what you're talking about. I mean, we're sort of friends, I guess. I think you're exaggerating a bit."

"Don't try to make us sound crazy. You didn't notice the staring? You should've seen them at the bowling alley, Danny." G teased. "She kept trying to include you in the conversation and like, touching you for no reason whatsoever. I'm telling you. That girl is into you. It's kind of cute actually."

"I don't think I'm her type."

Danny frowned. "Why not? Don't tell me you think you're ugly. I'm gay and 10/10, I'd bang." He said with a genuine smile.

"I don't think she's into girls." Laina countered, knowing the one rule that the lesbian community lived by: don't fall for a straight girl. Laina felt like it didn't apply to her seeing as though she like men and women but she was sure the rejection would hurt her just the same whether she was bisexual or gay.

"You mean you don't think she's just into girls." G poked her. "She could be pansexual, bisexual...as long as she's trying to get sexual with you, I don't see the problem."
