Chapter 19

Kayla's P.O.V

Time skip 3 days
Ever since we had church three days ago Mia, and Juice have been watching the surveillance footage to see if anything weird had happened. I was helping them until Maria came with Shaw then I had to distract Maria. So far Happy has been having his fun with Shaw aka torture but knows not to kill him. I've had Maria torture Shaw for a while to see if she'd act a certain way. Maria has been working for me and my sister for a long time but she's acting suspicious right now. I'm sitting at the bar thinking of what else I can do to catch Maria when Mia runs up to me laptop in hand and juice not too far behind. "Kayla, you and everyone else has to see this. You totally called it." I walk over to Clay. "Call for church in 10 mins Mia and Juice got something." He nods and starts to send out the text. I go back to the bar and pour myself a shot. I couldn't help but shake my head at the thought of Maria being the one to betray us. She's worked with us for 7 years and she throws it away for Shaw. I'm snapped back into reality when I feel someone place their hand on my back. "You ok sis?" Tierra asks me. "She's worked with us for 7 years and she betrays us knowing what we do to those that betray us." I say laughing bitterly. "Well she dug her own grave now we gotta put her in it." I chuckle at her metaphor. We each take a shit and start walking to the meeting room. Everyone trickles in and sits down. I sit on Jax lap while I look over and see Tierra sitting on Opies lap also. I give a small smile and make a mental note to ask her about it later. "Now it has been brought up that Mia and Juice have found something. Can you please tell or show us what it is?" Clay says Mia stand us while Juice pulls the video up on the projector. "Ok so we had to look for anything that was out of the ordinary. Now we see Maria a few blocks from the warehouse on the phone then 10 minutes later Shaw pulls up. They talk for about 5 minutes and then something we didn't expect happens they actually start making out until Shaw's phone goes off then he kisses her goodbye and goes off while Maria walks back to the warehouse." Mia says looking at me and Tierra sympathetically. I slam my hands down on the table making some of them jump. "stupide putain de salope comment pourrait-elle nous faire ça à nous!" (stupid fucking bitch how could she do this to me to us) I say standing up.  "croyez-moi, ma sœur, je sais ce que vous ressentez, mais vous devez vous calmer, nous ne pouvons rien lui faire encore." Tierra says making me look at her. (trust me sister i know how you are feeling but you have to calm down we can't do anything to her yet.) The rest are sitting there watching the heated conversation between us.  "donnez-moi une raison pour laquelle je ne devrais pas la tuer en ce moment, elle le mérite, sinon ce quelque chose de pire!" (give me one reason i shouldn't kill her right now she deserves it if not this something worse). I say taking my gun out of my jeans and putting it on the table. "DO YOU THINK IT WILL SOLVE ANYTHING? HUH IT WILL DO NOTHING BUT PUT US IN A BAD POSITION. YES YOU ARE PISSED OFF SO AM I AND I ALSO WANT TO KILL HER BUT WE NEED TO HANDLE THIS ACCORDINGLY." Tierra yells back at me getting closer to my face. I shake my head and slam my closed fist on the table again. "BAD POSITION? BAD POSITION? THIS BITCH HAS BEEN PLAYING US FROM THE FUCKING BEGINNING. WE PUT OUR LIVES ON THE LINE TO MAKE SURE HER FAMILY IS SAFE AND PROTECTED AND SHE BASICALLY SPIT IN OUR FACES RIGHT NOW I DON'T GIVE TWO FUCKS ABOUT OUR POSITION. SHE NEEDS TO DIE AND I DON'T CARE IF ITS WITH OR WITHOUT YOU I'M DONE GETTING FUCKED OVER BY PEOPLE WE PUT OUR NECKS OUT TO SAVE CUZ RIGHT NOW THIS SHOWS THEY DON'T GIVE A FUCK ABOUT US AND WE'RE JUST A MEAL TICKET IN THEIR EYES!" I yell back pushing her a little. At this point Dom stands up. "KAYLA take a walk." I look over to him "Bu-" "I said take a walk" he says again cutting me off. "This is fucking bullshit" I say grabbing my gun and storming out of the room.
