Adrien's POV:
It's been years since I've talked to Marinette and even longer since I've been in Paris. I'm 22 years old now. I didn't make a lot of friends in the U.S. due to being locked up in the house all the time. However, there's one person I met that has always been there for me whenever I got tired of being locked in the house, Plagg. I met Plagg while my mom was away on business a few years ago. I had gone out to get some fresh air and take a walk down the streets of New York when I bumped into Plagg. We had started talking and quickly became friends. I had learned that he was an orphan and didn't really have anywhere to go, so I invited him to stay with me while my mom was out. Eventually, mom came home and found Plagg and I watching TV on the couch. She asked me who he was and what he was doing at the house I told her. After I told her he had no place to go, she took him in and let him stay with us as long as he helped around the house. He's been with me ever since. He even came with me to Paris. A lot has changed over the years. Except for my eyes. My eyes are still the same as they were when I last talked to Mari. The optometrist was never able to give an explanation as to why my eyes changed color. My mom passed away a few weeks ago and I'm finally allowed to come back to Paris. Plagg and I had gotten off the plane a few hours ago and we decided to walk around Paris. I wonder if Marinette still lives at the bakery her mom owns. Maybe I should go see her. I'm snapped out of my thoughts by Plagg.
"-drien? ADRIEN!" Plagg shouts, causing me to jump.
"Yeah?" I reply. Plagg points toward something.
"Isn't this where your father lives?" He asks, causing me to look at what he was pointing at. Sure enough, we were in front of my father's house. I can't wait to see him, but that'll have to wait.
"Yeah, it is. Come on, I'll take you inside and introduce you to him, and then I have to go somewhere." I answered.
"Where are you going? Off to see this Marinette you talk about all the time?" Plagg teases. I nod. "Well in that case, let's go so you can see your girlfriend." I rolled my eyes at Plagg's teasing and pushed the button on the gate that lets my dad know someone is at the gate. Within seconds, the security camera is on and pointed towards Plagg and I.
"Hey dad!" I said, waving.
"Adrien! You're back! Who's the kid next to you?" My father's voice asks through the intercom.
"This is my friend, Plagg. He came with me from New York." I answered. "Can he come in? I have somewhere to go."
"Of course! Say hi to Marinette for me!" he responded.
"I will!" I answered and ran towards the bakery. "I'm finally going to see my princess!"
Marinette's POV:
It's been years since I've talked to Adrien. I miss him, I really do. I miss his dumb jokes and awful puns. I miss his constant pranks and mischievousness. I miss everything about him. I'm 21 years old now, almost 22. I still don't have many friends besides Alya and Nino. I did, however, make one new friend who has been with me since I met her, Tikki. Tikki and I met when I was sketching designs by the Eiffel Tower a few months ago. She was looking for a job and a place to stay when I met her. She is apparently from New York and came here to pursue a career in catering. I offered her a job at the bakery and told her she could share my room with me. I was working the counter today in the bakery and Tikki had today off. It was a slow day today so I decided to work on my designs. I was sketching a dress when Tikki came downstairs.
"Hey Marinette!" She said cheerfully.
"Hey Tikki! What's up?" I asked. Tikki grinned mischievously, but I didn't notice.
"Oh nothing, one of my friends from New York moved here I guess. I got an email from them this morning. Which is surprising because the last time I talked to him he was living with a friend of his" She explained.
"Oh, okay. See ya later Tikki!" I said. I looked out the window by the counter and sighed. "Where are you Kitty? You promised you would come back." I went back to sketching and about a half hour later, the door to the bakery opened. "Wel-" I stopped when I saw who it was. "No. It can't be. Can it?" Sure enough, standing right in front of me is............
