Josie's POV

It has been a few weeks since Hope and I have been seeing each other in private. It's been nice but it's been getting harder to keep it a secret. Lizzie has almost walked in on us kissing several times. Tonight Hope was spending the night with me in my room since Lizzie was going to spend the night with some friends.

"Okay Jo I'll be back tomorrow morning," Lizzie announced as she left the room.

Shortly after Lizzie left Hope arrived.

"Hey Jo," Hope greeted wrapping her hands round my waist kissing me.

"Hey," I replied kissing her again.

"OMG Josie," Lizzie shouted.

"Crap," Hope whispered removing her hands from my waist.

"Josie we need to talk," Lizzie huffed grabbing my wrist brining me into the bathroom. "What the hell Josie!" Lizzie scolded as we walked into the bathroom.

"What do you want me to say I like Hope." I mumbled.

"Josie Hope is the literal devil she's going end up hurting you," Lizzie whispered in an angry manner.

"She would never hurt me," I replied back mad that she would ever think that Hope would do something like that.

"How long has this been going on," Lizzie asked in a calmer tone.

"About three weeks," I said. "Lizzie please don't tell mom or dad," I asked practically begging.

"Josie I can't promise to keep a secret like this from them you know what mom thinks of the Mikaelson's," Lizzie replied back as tears started to form in my eyes.

"Hope is different she would never leave me," I said before walking out of the bathroom.

"Are you okay," Hope asked as I re-entered my bedroom.

"Yeah, I just wish they didn't have to find out this way," I replied wiping away my tears as Lizzie walked out into the hallway.

"Wait what do you mean by they," Hope questioned sounding upset.

"Lizzie said she was going to tell my parents and I was thinking maybe we should tell them. We have been seeing each other for awhile now and I think I'm ready," I announced.

"If your ready I am," Hope smiled as she rubbed my hand.

"We should probably go then before Lizzie tells my dad," I suggested as we walked out of my room. When we got in-front of my dads office Lizzie was just about to enter when I stopped her. "Lizzie wait Hope and I want to tell him." Lizzie nodded and moved out of the way locking her eyes on Hope in disgust.

"Yeah that sounds like a good lead," my dad mumbled as Hope and I entered.

"Mom!" I exclaimed when I saw that it was my mom that my dad was talking to.

"Hey baby," Caroline greeted as she walked over to me giving me a hug.

"When did you get here!" I asked.

"About ten minutes ago your father was telling me about some stuff," Caroline replied giving me one last hug before stepping back.

"Did you girls need something," my father asked as he closed a book on his desk.

"Hope and I wanted to tell you guys something,"I announced as both of them nodded at me to continue. "We are together," I added as Hope gently grabbed my hand holding it.

"What do you mean by together," Caroline questioned sounding slightly confused.

"We are seeing each other," Hope spoke up answering my moms question.

"Josie can we have a private conversation between the three of us," my mom asked. Hope looked at me before I nodded to her letting her know that I would be okay and then she left the room.

"You are seeing Hope Mikaelson," my mom stated sounding frustrated. "You understand that she is dangerous," she added.

"Mom Hope would never hurt me she's probably the nicest person I know," I huffed back tired of everyone saying how dangerous Hope was.

"We don't approve of this Josie, we're only trying to look out for what's best for you," my dad said.

"I'm not here looking for your approval, I love Hope and I don't care what you two think of her," I shot back fuming with rage before leaving my dads office to see Hope sitting in a chair near his office waiting for me.

"Josie what's wrong ," Hope asked as we walked back to her room.

"I'm just so tired of everyone making you out to be someone you aren't," I replied as we entered her room.

"Hey babe it's okay," Hope said as we both sat down on her bed.

"Is it okay if I spend the night," I asked as Hope put her hand on mine.

"Yeah it's not like you haven't been spending almost every night here for the past couple weeks," Hope chuckled.

After we changed into pajamas we laid down with my head resting on her chest and her arms around me.

"What do you think your parents are going to do about us," Hope whispered to me as she played with my hair.

"I'm not sure I've never seen them that disappointed before. I wish they could see how amazing you are," I replied back before lifting my head to kiss her.
