Alexis
It's Saturday, which means it's been three days since I last saw Billie. Three days is too long, if you ask me.
Sure, I don't know her that well yet, but there's no denying that I'm drawn to her regardless of that fact.
Plus, her lips are addicting.
We've been texting pretty much constantly since I dropped her off at her house, mostly about music we like. When we talked on the phone for the first time she got my typical, long-winded rant about how Green Day is undeniably the best band ever, and the best part is she took it all in and responded just as enthusiastically, gushing about her own idols while I listened with a goofy smile on my face.
I finally got around to actually listening to her stuff, and I dig it. I put it off for a while because the people I know who are into her suck ass, so I figured the music they listened to would take after them. I'll admit that I was wrong, the lyrics are real and the production is sick.
I walk out of my bedroom for the first time this morning and raise an eyebrow when I see Darius sitting on the couch, eating a bowl of cereal.
"When did you get here?" I ask and he jumps slightly, the action causing milk and cereal pieces to spill into into his lap.
"Fuck man, you scared me!"
"This is my house, weirdo. You're the one that's not supposed to be here."
I hop over the back of the couch and sit down beside him while he shovels more cereal into his mouth like he's starving.
"If you didn't want me letting myself in like this why'd you give me a key?" he asks with his mouth full and I scrunch my nose in disgust.
I ignore his question and look at the TV, snorting in amusement when I see that he's watching Phineas and Ferb.
"What should we do today?" I ask and prop my feet up on the coffee table before looking down at my phone and scrolling through my messages.
I ignore most of them, only really bothering to reply to Billie and Jonah.
"I got work, I just came here for breakfast," he replies and I roll my eyes. "Party tonight though, you in?"
I think it over for a bit before shrugging, "Yeah, I'm down. Jonah's probably gonna make me go anyway."
"You should invite that Billie chick, she seemed cool. You end up getting with her?" he asks and I shake my head no.
"Like. nothing?"
"Maybe she's straight."
Usually I tell him everything, but Darius has a big ass mouth, and I figured that because Billie is famous I wouldn't want to risk people spreading shit about her kind of getting with a girl before she's ready. I don't actually know if she's out or not, and I don't want to risk it. I also don't want her to think I'm bragging about getting with her for clout or something, because that's just tacky.
Plus, there's a chance it could get back to Maia, and I know for a fact Billie doesn't want that.
"Or just not into your cheesy ass moves."
"Fuck off," I mumble and throw a pillow at his head, which makes him spill more of his cereal into his lap.
We watch the rest of the episode before he has to run to work, leaving me to clean up his bowl and the mess he made on the couch. Typical.
Once I finish I grab my phone again to send a text to Billie.
Alexis: yo what are you doing right now
