Billie

         Me and Lexi about three hours away from LA right now with my parents, Finneas, and his girlfriend, Claudia. We booked a campsite to have a bit of a get away when things got crazy on tour a few months ago, and I've been looking forward to it ever since.

It's even better than what I was looking forward to because now I have Lexi with me. Which is soft as hell but I'm starting to care less and less about that.

My parents didn't even hesitate to say yes when I asked if she could come. They really like her, which means so much to me. I have a really strong bond with both of them, enough for me to care what they think about my relationship. Finneas really likes her too obviously, and she gets on super well with Claudia. So well I might even get jealous if she wasn't dating my brother. It makes me really happy that she clicks with my family and they approve of her, because I'm so close to them it would be pretty hard to be with someone they didn't like. I'd be with her anyway, but it's a bonus.

Of course, things might be different if they knew everything about her that I do.

I don't like thinking about that.

Once we got here we set up camp, which took a while, then hiked about an hour to a beautiful, secluded waterfall. No one else even passed us on the trail so we had it all to ourselves, just messing around in the clean, crisp water. Alexis and I jumped off of the the top of the waterfall and into the water below, which freaked the hell out of my mom.

After a while I started to get tired from swimming around so much, I've never really been much of a strong swimmer. As Finneas and Lexi continued to goof off like lifelong friends in the water, I swam to the edge then walked out and back onto dry land. Now I'm laying out on my stomach on my towel that I perfectly sprawled out in a gap in the trees, allowing me to soak up the warmth of the sun like a cat curled up in the window.

After the while the sun is suddenly blocked and I crane my neck to look up and open my eyes to find Lexi looking down at me with a smile on her lips.

"Your ass looks fucking amazing," she says to break the silence and I let out an amused noise then go back to resting my head down on my hands.

"I know."

"Like, really amazing," she emphasizes and I laugh again as I roll over into my back, hiding it from her. "Now that's just rude."

"Quit getting all horny when my family is, like, right there," I reply and she just grunts in response as she leans down to take my hands.

"C'mon."

"Where are we going?"

"I dunno," she replies as she pulls me up. "Just c'mon."

We both strap our sandals on them throw our large shirts on over our bikinis before we just start walking further along the trail, away from the watering hole. Of course before leaving we shout down to the rest of the group that we won't go too far and won't go off the trail.

"How far are we going?" I ask while swinging Lexi's hand gentle as we walk, and she shrugs again.

"I dunno," she says and I whine for more answers. "We'll know it when we see it."

Usually that wouldn't really be enough information for me to be interested in walking up this steep, uneven trail, but I think I'd follow Lexi anywhere at this point.

"This isn't all just so we can have sex is it?" I ask half-jokingly and Lexi laughs.

"Not everything is about sex, Billie."
