it has been a week since the rooftop incident with jisung. a week since jisung and i have become friends and a three days since yeonghwa suddenly disappeared off the edge of the earth and it scares me. it's been quite a week for me.

"ms. tran, did you hear me?" the question pulled me into reality as i whipped my head up to look at the teacher.

"no, i'm sorry." i say as i slowly slide down my chair.

"next time please pay attention or else it's a detention." the teacher said as he turned around to face the blackboard.

i let out a soft sigh as i flip to the page we were working on. i couldn't even focus on anything anymore. i was about to turn the page to make it seem like i was doing the work when my phone went off. looking around the classroom, i made sure nobody was staring before looking at text i got. i immediately excused myself and went to the bathroom after reading it.

"oh there she is, our lovely guest." a high-pitched voice called out.

"what's all this about? why are you hiding in the shadow? show yourself." i said.

the feminine figure stepped out and of course.......it's the wicked witch of the school.

"what is this about soyeon? what did i do to you?" i asked.

"you stole something from me." she says.

"what did i steal? i didn't take anything from you." i asked incredulously

"oh on the contrary, you did." she starts "you stole jisung from me."

"that's bull, i didn't steal him away." i scoffed.

"don't think that i haven't seen how close you two have gotten. you planned all of this, you planned to take him away, for him to break up with me." she says as she moves closer to me.

"please, you're being delusional. jisung broke up with you because you played him." i say as i shot a glare at her.

"look gina, stay away from him and we won't have a problem." she said, her voice getting deeper

"and what if i don't?" i challenged.

"it would be sad to see such a beautiful necklace disappear, especially since it's the only thing you have left of your mother." she said as she reached out to touch the pendant hanging off my neck.

i backed away as soon as she touched it.

"don't you dare touch this necklace." i growled.

her lips let out a childish giggle, but her eyes point the sharpest glare.

"then don't touch what's mine."
