I soon wake up with a raging headache and take a look around, I was out for what, maybe ten minutes. It seems the blond boy has confronted the brutes that assaulted me, he looks a little mangled by better than me at least. I sit up as he turns around and starts walking towards me. He holds his hand out, and I grab it out of instinct. He pulls me to my feet, and I wobble before settling onto my feet.

"Hey, are you okay?" he asks, I mentally facepalm as it seems he doesn't know about me being mute. I nod my head as an answer and the tension he seemed to be holding quickly diminishes.

"That's great. Name's Lucian, what's yours" He states with confidence unlike my own. I begin attempting to sign my name, using sign language I've known most of my life. He just looks at me with a questioning look. I mentally sigh and pull out my phone and open my notebook application. I use the small keyboard to write 'Silas' onto the screen and hold it up to him, as he is quite a bit taller than me.

"Cool name, Silas. So you can't talk or do you just not want too?" He asks, looking completely dumbfounded, I groan internally but nod my head, hoping he gets what I'm trying to tell him. He looks a bit shocked, but it goes away quickly. Then I finally notice his eyes, one of them is a dull dark blue, but the other is a bright and glowing indigo color. I probably look so surprised when I finally connect the dots in my head. I quickly type a message into my notebook app and show him. He looks so shocked and almost offended, all I did was ask him if he a Mythical. He sighs loudly and nods.

"How'd you guess?" he inquires quietly, I just point to my eye, signaling that was how I found out about his secret. He gasps, realizing that one of his color dulling contacts must have fallen out. I quickly write down my phone number of a scrap of sketchbook paper, signaling him that it would just be easier if he just texted me. He looks a bit surprised at first but rushes to put my number into his phone. I soon hear a little ping noise from my phone, signaling he had texted me. I open my texting app and check what he sent.

'It just says 'Hi' how original.' I think to myself as I respond with a quick 'Hi' back to him. I then text him saying ' I should probably go back to my apartment now, I need to relax after that mess'. I hear him laugh as he stands next to me, I just decide to start walking, as my apartment isn't that far from the school. Lucian starts to look for his missing contact but stops to wave to me, probably meaning to say goodbye, so I continue to walk back to my home.

I soon arrive back to my apartment, I punch in the four-digit key code and walk in, dropping my bag on the floor. I stretch my arms above my head before heading to the room I use for relaxing. It was an extra bedroom but I turned it into a sort of spa. There is a hot tub and a tv, along with a small music slash sound system that is pretty dusty because I prefer to use the tv.

I close the door and turn the tv on, before pulling my light blue scarf off and hanging it on the little hook on the back of the door. I then take a deep breath, finally free of the scarf covering the gills that are lined up neatly on my neck. I then pull off my long sleeved black shirt then look down at my thin frame before setting my shirt neatly on the small counter next to the door. I then pull off my loose fitting jeans and set them on top of my shirt before reaching up to my hot tub and hoping in.

I relax into the warm water as my legs grow together into a long, bright blue shark-like tail. I hold up my hand in front of my face, looking at the silky smooth grey skin that replaces my tan Hawaiian skin. I flick my ear fins before turning my attention to the television and relaxing for the next couple minutes. I overhear my phone vibrate and sigh mentally, it's going to be a pain trying to get it from in the tub. I reach my long arms out over to the counter and nearly reach the edge of the offending device. I reach out a little farther, splashing warm water out onto the smooth tile floor of my relaxation room.
