It's been 5 minutes since they walked in. My mother, father, brother, about ten witches and three voodoo priestesses. We stood silent waiting for something. Anything, anything to tell us what to do next.
I wanted to be in there helping. So did jack, but they said we had to stay Incase things went that wrong. We were the backup, the rescue team.
"Dean it's too quiet. I want to go in" I said staring at the house before me.
"No, I am not losing you, not now not ever." Dean said grabbing my arm as if he was holding me back.
As we stood arguing the house began shaking again. We heard the chants coming from inside. All of us terrified of what could, or would happen.
We all stood waiting, we had made the girls stay home, so it was just Donna, Bobby, Jody, Jack, and the three of us.
Suddenly Crowley came flying through the door and landed at my feet. He coughed as he tried to sit up. Muttering curse words under his breath.
"You okay big brother?" I said mocking as Dean and I pulled him up.
"We're screwed" he said coughing as he spoke.
"Great" dean said looking nervous.
We heard screams and howls from the house. The whole place rattled as they did what they could. It was killing me not being in there.
"Sloane!" I heard Gabriel shout as he ran to the door. "Rowena needs you" he said waving me in.
Dean kissed me before I pulled away. Cas just stared clearly worried. I ran to the door meeting Gabriel who looked exhausted.
"They're in here. They need just a little more juice. I'd get jack but" he said making a face.
"He's not a witch" I said as we approached the source of the disturbance.
"The incantation is right there. We need your help" Rowena said with a shaky voice.
I quickly read the words and took my place with the witches. The room was bright, the magic working against the creature. It almost looks like they opened a pseudo rift for it to go through.
We all chanted and I felt the warmth pulse through my body. The creatures eyes glowed red, his body was like smoke, but yet it was solid. He was slowly being pulled back into the near blinding light.
The farther he got in the stronger I felt my power growing. I never used it out of fear. I feel like a loose cannon. Especially right now.
The power flowed through my body, my eyes went full gold. And within and instant, it seems like time stopped. Things around me are moving so slow. But I'm not. I feel full power.
Without thinking I cast my full power onto the creature sending it flying in pieces. The rift flashed closed with a massive sound. And suddenly things were moving again.
I looked around at the house in shambles and my mother staring at me. Her face and those belonging to the other witches frozen as well. Then suddenly I felt weak and my body hit the floor.
I woke up at home in bed. I heard voices as I came around. I tried to listen the best I could.
"She blew it to bloody pieces. There was barely anything left of it. And it took all over a dozen of us had to just push it. And she killed it" I heard my mother say in a hushed whisper.
"Did her eyes go gold?" I heard dean asking.
"As the summer sun, they used to do it when she was a wee lass" I heard her say moving closer to the bed.
