"So the frigging ghost possessed a hamster" Dean said sitting at the dinner table throwing his hands around as he ate.

"You're kidding?" Claire said practically dropping her fork.

"I had to fight and evil hamster." He said totally straight faced.

"I miss literally all the fun" I said a little annoyed.

"You do cool witch stuff, never thought I'd say that" he said taking another bite of his dinner.

"Yeah, and you fought a possessed hamster!" I said slamming my fists down on the table before storming off.

Four months now they've kept me from hunting. Four months I've been locked up in a shop. Reduced to simple spells and healing people.

Yeah, helping people is great, but they're out there hunting. I want to be out there hunting. But no, it's too dangerous. Not like I'm immortal. The baby is probably like me.

"Hey, Sloane, you okay?" Sam asked as he stepped out onto the balcony.

"No Sammy, I'm not okay. I'm losing my mind. When will this end? After the baby is here?" I said sighing as I sat in the hot august sun.

"Once the baby is born, I'll have to stay back from the hunts with her. And it's not fair" I said throwing my arms up.

Sam just sighed and knelt down next to me. He grabbed my hand and looked into my eyes. He gave it a gentle squeeze before he opened his mouth.

"Once she's here Charlie can babysit when we hunt. 5 more months and you're home free" He said trying to comfort me.

"How fucked up is the fact it's actually ten months not nine?" I said staring at my ever growing belly.

"Yeah it is pretty fucked up" he said smiling.

"Why doesn't Dean get it? Cas does, and he's usually so oblivious." I said throwing my head back sighing.

"Dean has wanted this his whole life, and now that he has it, he's terrified of losing you or the baby" Sam made sense, I'm sure he's right. It's just frustrating.

"It's just, it's hard, I've never felt weak. And I feel weak." I said tearing up.

"I never want you to feel like that, especially because of me" Dean said in a guilty voice as he stepped out onto the balcony.

"I know I've been an ass. I just want to keep her safe." He said sitting next to me as Sam walked back inside.

"When Sammy was a baby, he was with me in the back seat of the impala while dad was hunting. We could've been killed" he said trying to hide his emotions.

"I'm terrified of something happening to our daughter." He cried as he said it. I just grabbed him and held him.

"This baby is at least 1/4 angel and witch. She's going to be tough as hell. She's a winchester" I said trying to comfort him.

"I've been thinking about names." Dean said quietly trying to dry his tears.

"I've been at a loss for names. So shoot" I said putting his hand on my belly so he could feel her kick. It weirds Cas out but Dean gets so excited.

"Joanna Beth, Jo for short" he said quietly.

"God that name brings back memories" I said under my breath remembering the blond who I hunted with briefly.

"You knew Jo?" Dean asked with a puzzled look. It had never occurred to me before that he did know her. She talked about him.

"Yeah, we hunted together. She was great, I love it Dean, it's perfect. Pending angelic approval" I chuckled as I rubbed my belly.
