Izzy and Jughead were back at the Blue and Gold's office when her phone rang, causing Izzy to quickly take it out of her jacket pocket. After seeing that it was Sweet Pea calling, Izzy immediately answered the phone, "Hey, Sweets. What's up?" She answered the phone.

"I followed Hermione Lodge like you asked," Sweet Pea informed Izzy, causing the female Serpent to turn to Jughead, who gave her a confused look, clearly not knowing what Sweet Pea was saying on the other end of the phone, "Listen, Iz, you better get out here."

"Be there soon," Izzy replied, just before hanging up the phone.

After Sweet Pea had texted Izzy his location, both Jughead and Izzy made their way to a cabin, where Hermione was staying at.

"Stay down and keep quiet," Sweet Pea warned the two as they all hid behind the cabin, but still was able to look through the bedroom window, only to see Hermione Lodge half naked as she made out with Sheriff Minetta.

"What the hell?" Izzy frowned in confusion, "That can't be."

"Sheriff Minetta's alive?" Jughead questioned Sweet Pea, who nodded, "I thought he was decapitated."

"No," Sweet Pea replied in a hushed tone, "From the sounds of it, he and Hermione Lodge --Have been having an affair for months."

"Wait, listen!" Izzy shushed the two boys, placing a hand over Sweet Pea's mouth. Sweet Pea frowned, looking down at the hand on his mouth, "Sorry," She muttered quietly before removing her hand.

  Izzy, Sweet Pea, and Jughead began to listen in on Hermione's conversation with Minetta, "There's too many people asking questions, which means our little outstanding problem, you need to take care of tonight." Hermione told Minetta "I've cleared the decks. And use your old Sheriff's gun. Then all signs will point to FP."

"They're talking about framing my dad," Jughead paused, turning to look at Izzy as he awkwardly cleared his throat, "Uh, I mean our dad."

"Dude, I don't care," Izzy responded before getting back on task.

"But what are they trying to frame him for?" Sweet Pea asked the two concerned.

"We'll have to figure it out and warn him," Jughead decided before getting up and leaving.

Izzy didn't leave just yet. She turned to Sweet Pea, placing a hand on the side of his way, "Be careful, okay?" She warned her boyfriend in a hushed tone, "I wouldn't want to have to kill Hermione Lodge for hurting you, alright?" She told Sweet Pea, who wasn't at all bothered by how morbid she sounded.

Sweet Pea smiled, nodding his head, "I love you," He responded and Izzy smiled back at him.

"And I love you," She repeated after him, placing a lingering kiss to his lips before standing up.

She jokingly messed up his hair before quickly trying to catch up to Jughead, who was way ahead of her.

Jughead and Izzy arrived at the Sheriff Station just in time to stop FP before he left, "Dad, we need to talk to you." Jughead tried to tell his father.

"There's something at the hospital," FP informed the two, only to be forced to stop walking when Izzy roughly grabbed him by the arm.

"No, you can't go there," She argued with him in a stern tone, "It's a set-up, FP. Hermione and Minetta, he's alive."

"The two of them plotted together to kill Hiram Lodge," Jughead added into Izzy's commented.

"What?" FP asked the two kids confused as he quickly closed the door to his office so that the three of them could speak in private.
