A month later, the quarantine in Riverdale had finally ended. Izzy and Sweet Pea were as happy as ever and Izzy had told him everything about what had happened to her in the sisters. Sweet Pea felt hate toward Alice for it, but Izzy told him to get past it, that she would continue living with Alice even though she despised her and just to screw with her, she was going to have Sweet Pea stay with her almost every night.

Sweet Pea and Izzy entered the first day of school since her captivity at the sisters. They held each other hands throughout the hallway when Toni and Cheryl walked up to them, doing the same thing, "Watch out, lovebirds," Toni spoke up jokingly, "The RROTC boys are warning everyone to keep PDA to a minimum. You two are probably next."

Both Sweet Pea and Izzy scoffed, "Well, they can go suck it," Izzy replied before Sweet Pea decided to speak.

Sweet Pea smiled slightly, wrapping an arm around Izzy, "I'm going to have as much PDA with my girlfriend as I want," he told the two girls, leaning toward Izzy as they kissed each other.

As the kiss deepened and it became a mini-makeout session, both Cheryl and Toni made sounds as if they were disgusted, "Find somewhere else in the school to make out where I don't have to see you," Cheryl commented, causing both Izzy and Sweet Pea to pull away as they turned to the two girls, smiling

"I could've sworn the two of you were doing the same thing in front of my locker last time I was at school," Sweet Pea commented and Izzy nodded in agreement, "As you said, 'We'll do it wherever we want'. I could say the same to you."

Both Cheryl and Toni rolled their eyes at the couple, who sent them a smirk before walking off, Sweet Pea's arm around Izzy. Toni sighed, a smiling forming on her lips as she watched her two friends walk off, "They're my favorite couple," She gushed, causing Cheryl to give her a weird look.

"I thought we were your favorite couple, TT?" Cheryl jokingly complained.

Toni turned to her girlfriend and smiled, "Fine. They're my second favorite," She corrected herself, causing Cheryl to smile as they walked off together.

Izzy and Sweet Pea were just about to stop at Sweet Pea's locker when Reggie, who was walking down the hallway, spotted Izzy, "Well, look who finally decided to come back!" He spoke up loudly, causing Izzy to smile as she turned to Reggie, "Welcome back, Izzy Blake."

Izzy smiled brightly, moving away from Sweet Pea as she ran over to Reggie, immediately hugging him, "Damn, I'll be honest, Izzy. I actually missed you."

Izzy laughed, pulling away from the hug as she lightly hit Reggie on the chest, "Well, I missed you, too, asshole. Text me sometime. I gotta fill you in on all the crap that went down with me at the Sisters."

"Sounds like a plan," Reggie replied, nodding his head.

Izzy send him a smile and a small finger wave before walking over to Sweet Pea, who had a frown on his face, "What's wrong?" She asked her boyfriend confused.

"What's with you and Mantle?" Sweet Pea questioned, pointing in the direction that Reggie had left in.

"Nothing. He's just a good friend of mine," Izzy replied without a care in the world, shrugging her shoulders.

Sweet Pea scoffed, "Damn. Never thought I would hear you say those words." He commented, causing them both to laugh, "Just don't let him get too touchy-feely with you, okay?"

"Sweet Pea, it was a hug!" Izzy complained and Sweet Pea smiled at her.

"Okay, okay. I'm just saying," He replied, jokingly lifting his hands in surrender, "We should get to class."

Izzy nodded, her fingers intertwining with Sweet Pea's as they walked in the direction of their English Class.

Izzy awoke with a gasp when she heard a familiar scream. One that she seemed to hear almost every night. She sat up from her bed alongside Sweet Pea, "What was that?" Sweet Pea asked her as they heard yet another scream, causing Izzy to sigh.

"I was hoping you wouldn't wake up like last time," Izzy whispered softly, "This is really getting tiring," She paused, turning to Sweet Pea, "Just go back to sleep, Sweets. I'll handle it. I just hope that didn't wake up my mom."

Izzy stood up from the bed, picking up her shorts off the floor. She was only wearing Sweet Pea's shirt but she knew if she was going downstairs, she was going to need pants, even if the shirt went all the way down to her mid-thigh.

Izzy exited her room at the same time that Betty exited her. They shared a look, both of them sighing out before heading downstairs, not saying a word to each other, "He's coming. The Gargoyle King, he's coming to kill me," Hannah, one of the girls, cried out.

Izzy and Betty quickly knelt down next to her, "Hey, hey!" Izzy called out and the young girl immediately began to wake up, "Hannah!"

Hannah panted for breath as she sat up, "He's not going to get you, Hannah," Izzy assured her in a calm tone, "It was just a bad dream, okay? We've all had them, you'll get better."

"It's all over, remember?" Betty added in, "The Gargoyle King is dead."

"The Gryphon Queen, she slayed him. She saved us," Tyler reminded Hannah with a smile on his face.

Izzy nodded her head in agreement, "That's exactly what I'm saying, Tyler."

"Okay, but since we're up, can we play?" Hannah asked curiously, referring to the Gryphons and Gargoyles game, "Please, Izzy. It really makes us feel better."

Izzy glanced around to see all of the kids giving her pleading looks while Betty gave her a questioning one, wondering what she would decide, "Okay, okay, fine," Izzy hesitantly replied as she stood up from her seat on the ground, "One round, that's it. Then, back to bed, alright?"

Izzy sighed as she walked over to to the box that held the game. Her eyes widened when she lifted it, only to see a package of Fizzle Rocks, "What the hell is this!" She exclaimed, quickly picking it up before turning to face the group of teens. The group shared a glance with each other, angering Izzy, "Answer me! Whose is this? Huh?"

"They're Tyler's," Hannah suddenly informed her, causing Izzy to turn to Tyler, "He's been taking them."

Izzy walked over to Tyler alongside Betty, both of them kneeling in front of him, "Tyler," Betty spoke up in a stern tone, "Where did you get the Fizzle Rocks?"

After hearing that it was a Serpent who had dealt him the Fizzle Rocks, Izzy went upstairs and told Sweet Pea to see what he thought about it.

"Are you sure he wasn't lying, Izzy?" Sweet Pea asked Izzy, who sighed.

"If it was a lie, that boy came up with it pretty quickly," Izzy replied with a sigh, "I can't believe this is happening, Sweet Pea. This is all my fault. If I hadn't been gone so long--"

"Hey, hey, hey," Sweet Pea quickly cut her off, "This is not your fault. You didn't know Alice was going to send you away. Nobody did."

Sweet Pea sighed, wrapping his arms around Izzy, pulling her into a hug, "Now, let's go back to sleep. We have school tomorrow."

Izzy nodded and after Sweet Pea laid on his back, Izzy placed her head down on the chest, the two of them beginning to fall back asleep in each other's arms.
