Lola's POV

I busied myself by opening the magazine next to me before Harry came back in and realised I was eavesdropping. I heard him shuffle in and I looked up as he came to sit by me.

"You ok?" He asked, distantly.

"Yeah, I can't even feel the needle anymore." I said, nodding down to the punctured part of my arm.

"That's good." He said, a bit bluntly.

I let my eyes drift back to the magazine and pretended to be interested in it before building up the courage to ask what he ran away from. I mulled it over in my head, weighing out the pros and cons. If I asked him he could totally ignore it and not answer or get all tetchy about it and leave, annoyed with my nosey behaviour. Before I could open my mouth to ask the nurse plodded in to take my medication out.

"Right, Lola, you're going home tonight. The Doctor is on his way to do the discharge and you'll be done in half an hour. So you little love birds can get back to your nest!" She winked again, liking the idea of Harry and I as a couple. I couldn't help but smile at the kind lady who had looked after me all week, I turned to smile at Harry but he was pre occupied on his phone, obviously not bothered by the good news. I shook my head but kept a smile on my face as I spoke to the Nurse.

"Thank you so much, for everything. You've made my stay a lot nicer." I told her, smiling as she relieved me from the pain of the medication.

"It's not a problem, honey. Now make sure you take care of yourself, don't be doing anymore of that dancing and faffing around! Are you listening, boy?!" Her voice got louder as she looked over to Harry.

"Huh?" He murmured, looking confused.

"Less of that texting and more of the caring for your girl, please." She told him, sternly.

"Oh, oh, yeah, of course. Don't worry about it."

She tutted at his reply before turning and leaving.

"Good luck with everything, Lola." She smiled again and winked before packing her kit up and leaving. I waved after her and carefully stood up to get changed.

Harry was still typing away at his phone, his eyebrows frowning in the middle, he looked stressed.

"Are you ok, Harry?" I asked, walking over to his side of the room.

He looked up momentarily before shoving his phone in his pocket, quickly.

"What? Yeah, I'm fine. What are you doing?" He asked, his voice sounded strained.

"I'm going to pack, I'm being discharged. Did you not hear?" My voice started to get sharp.

"Oh that's good. Need any help?"

"No. I can do it on my own." I pulled my phone out to text Dani to pick me up, I was not leaving with him if he had no idea what was going on. His selfish and arrogant side had come out again and I didn't like it.

"You can go. I don't need you to wait with me." I spoke, louder than intended.

His eyebrows rose up and he looked shocked at my outburst.

"Well how are you going to get home?" He asked.

"Dani is picking me up. Don't worry about it. Just go home and do whatever you want." I told him.

"Whatever Lola, I'm not in the mood for your stupid hormones." I whipped my head around to look at him. My mouth opened.

"What the hell are you on about, Harry?! I'm not the one that's been sat on my phone all afternoon, getting all nervous when someone sees me on it!" I challenged him, my eyebrows rose up, waiting for his reply.
