Here's Chapter 24...

Lola's POV

Harry gently kissed me, slowly trailing his hands down my sides and running them back up over the goosebumps that had formed. The sheets underneath me became crumpled and bunched up as he rolled over to make me straddle him. I sat up, rolling his top off and gently tracing the tattoos on his skin again, not wanting to stop him from caressing my skin, I dipped my head and trailed short kisses along his chest. I giggled as I heard a moan escape from his lips and as soon as I stopped he grabbed my thighs and turned me over so I was underneath.

He dropped his head to my neck and breathed heavily, kissing as he went.

"Lo, you're so bloody beautiful." He whispered in my ear before reaching over and pulling his drawer open.

"So are you, Harry. You're beautiful, inside and out." I pointed to his heart and kissed his lips.

"I'll never hurt you again, Lola. I swear, everything I do for you will be for the better."

I just nodded and smiled at him before pulling him down by the neck and wrapping my legs around him, continuing our heated moment.

---

I awoke to a bare chest covered in ink and a throbbing ache in the pit of my stomach. I smiled at the thoughts from last night but soon recovered as my body started to shake unexpectedly and I shot up and ran to the toilet door. I found the toilet lid and pulled it up, hurling out my stomach contents. I stayed sat down. Waiting for more to come before I heard a shuffling from behind.

Harry was stood in his boxers, rubbing his eyes and yawning. His voice croaked as he spoke.

"Are you ok, Lola? Do we need to go back to the hospital?" He winced at the thought.

"No, I'll be fine, it's just the side effects. Go back to bed and I'll make some breakfast." I nodded before struggling to stand up. My legs quivered as I stood and I held onto the sink for balance.

"Nice try, superwoman but I think I'll be the one making breakfast. Get back to bed and I'll bring something for you to vomit in." I laughed weakly as Harry gave me a nervous look.

I climbed back under the covers and snuggled down.

"This reminds me of the first time I stayed here." I said to Harry as he pulled on a top, he turned around and gave me a smile.

"You were so bloody stubborn about making those cakes, weren't you?" He teased, poking my cheek.

I held my hands up in defence, "it was tradition, arsehole!" I threw a pillow as he exited his room and laughed when he flipped me off.

As I rolled over to get some more sleep I heard the door creak open,

"Oh, and Lola. Please don't vomit in my bed, the sheets are clean."

It was my turn to flip him off.

Harry's POV

No matter how much I joked with Lola I was still worried by her sickness this morning so as I made the breakfast I rang her doctor, making sure she couldn't hear a word.

"Hello, Dr Lake speaking, how can I help?"

"Um, hi, it's Harry Styles. I'm a close friend of Lola."

There was a pause.

"Oh yes, Mr Styles. Is everything ok, is she doing alright?"

"Hi, well yeah she's ok, I was just wondering though should she be vomiting on a morning?"

"I can tell you're concerned, Harry but do not worry. Vomiting is very normal during the downfall of a cancer patient. It's nothing to lose hope over."

My heart rate decreased again and relief flooded me.

"Oh thank god, I just panicked because I haven't seen loads of that stuff before and I didn't know what to do."

"What stuff, Harry?"

"Oh it was just like red bits in her vomit." I squirmed at the thought of Lola's sick.

"Are you free this morning?" The doctor sounded concerned, so I thought on the spot and replied quickly.

"Yes, why?"

"Bring Lola in for me please. I'll see you very shortly." The phone line went dead and so did my body. My heart rate increased again and my palms became clammy.

What was happening? How long would it take?

---

I'd managed to pull Lola out of bed and she shoved her clothes on at the speed of light when I told her she'd been requested by the doctor. We jumped into my car with no hesitation and sped off to the hospital again. The thoughts swirling around my head were all bad and it made me sick to think that she was slowly getting worse.

"Harry, can I use your phone to speak to Dani?"

"Um yeah, it's just in the glove compartment." I shuffled in my seat as I passed her the phone, I waited until she had explained everything to Dani and relayed the directions to the hospital to ensure she was there too.

My stomach churned as we pulled up to the back entrance of the hospital and I started to shake slightly when Lola grabbed my hand tightly.

"It can't get any worse than it already is, Haz."

What Lola didn't know is that she was so wrong.
