Tessa's POV
Disbanding the gang was the hardest thing I've ever done. I had to watch those who I have considered family leave me. It did take quite awhile to convince everyone it was for the best though. The all piled in the hospital room shouting at me and pleading with me to reconsider my decision. I didn't want them to get involved with the war I was going to start with the Vipers, so I put my foot down and told them my decision was final.

"So, you're what's your plan?" Eisuke asked, standing in the doorway of my hospital room, along with the other bidders and Saya. I just looked at them. "You're going after the Vipers, correct?"

"So what if I am?" I responded.

"That's suicide to go alone," replied Soryu.

"What's it to you? You've gotten what you wanted from me. We no longer have any business with each other."

"We're involved whether you like it or not. After blowing up their headquarters and assisting in your escape, do you really think they'll let us off the hook?" Baba asked.

"We just want to help you," Saya said.

"This is personal between the Vipers and myself. Don't get involved." Eisuke just smirked and that worried me.

"Fine. If you don't want help, we won't help you. We'll just make our own plan of attack," he said.

"But-"

"That's a great idea, Boss!" Baba exclaimed.

"That's-"

"Let's get planning," Ota said excitedly.

"Why are-"

"Just give it up, Tessa. I've learned a long time ago that they always get what they want," said Saya. On one hand, I knew she was right. On the other hand, my stubbornness wanted to prove her wrong. I knew I didn't have the time to debate with them or myself though. So, with a deep sigh, I said,

"Fine. I give. I'll accept your help." The bidders gave her somewhat of a smug look, even Soryu gave a little smirk. "Wipe those smug looks off your faces. Time is of the essence and I don't have the time to debate with you. The Vipers don't stay in a single location for very long, so we need to make a plan quickly."

"They probably moved already," said Soryu.

"I doubt it. Their leader has a major flaw. He has OCD when it comes to schedules. Everything has to stay on schedule or he loses his composure and concentration. According to his schedule, he's not planning on moving for another three days."

"How do you know that?"

"I didn't just sit there like a damsel in distress, waiting for her Prince Charming to arrive and save her. In order to create a battle plan, you must know your opponent. So, I used every opportunity to look around or overhear conversations. Never underestimate your opponent, even when they're stuck in a cell, beaten half to death. The battle must commence before time is up."

"But you're in no condition to fight," said Saya worriedly.

"I'll be fine. I happen to be a fast healer."

"But-"

"We're on a time limit. I can rest after the war," I said quickly.

"Okay..."

"I do have one request I'd we are to work together."

"And what is that?" Eisuke asked.

"Do not kill any of the members." To say everyone was shocked was an understatement.

"That's a tall order, Pretty Lady," said Baba.

"They won't hesitate to kill any of us," said Soryu. "Don't forget they are mafia."

"I know. I just need you guys to make a path for me and keep them occupied until I defeat their boss."

"You planning on killing him?"

"After all he's done, there's no other choice but to kill him." Soryu took time to study my resolve and determination for awhile.

"Very well. The Ice Dragons and I will assist you. However, if it comes down to our lives or their lives, we will not hesitate to kill."

"The Ice Dragons? But-"

"Thanks to the information we received from you, the former leader was defeated and I became the boss."

"I see. Congrats. I know you will continue your grandfather's philosophy. Also, I appreciate your cooperation." After a moment of silence, someone broke it.

"Well then, shall we start planning? We are on a time limit and I don't want to have to go through another wild goose chase trying to find the place," Baba said playfully.

"Yes. I agree with Baba. I also don't feel like dying due to the lack of preparation," said Ota dramatically. Saya and I chuckled a bit at the duos' attempt to ease the tension.

"Be serious for once," said Soryu annoyed.

"You're scolding us for helping, but no Momo for sleeping on the job?" Baba responded.

"Too much trouble," Momo said lazily.

"Tch. Lazy detective." I laughed at their banter. This was quite the unique bunch with contradicting occupations. They drive each other crazy, but they look after one another. They have a bond I haven't seen in ages. I must say, I'm a little jealous.

"Alright, let us begin," I said.

The next few hours the bidders and I began planning. We came up will many strategies and tactics until we finally came up with a plan that we all agreed with.

"After dawn, we start our plan of attack," I said. Each of the bidders gave a nod.
