The next day, the conversation between Regina and my grandmother took a turn I did not expect. As we arrived in Regina answered and after we sit, she explained to my grandmother:

_ The performance of Sophia for someone who started skating for six months was at least surprising. I admit that it takes way, only has no experience. A skater is defined by his talent and his granddaughter yesterday proved it can go far. I would put it to train with a team that was on another level, it would allow us to further explore their skills.

However, Grandma communicated to Regina:

_ I figured that was it, and I thought a lot about. I made a decision: Sophia now need to focus on school. I do not want her to lose focus and dedicate so many hours in this sport that is leaving black and blue and sore.

Regina tried to dissuade her:

_ You do not even want to hear her opinion?

_ I'm sure she will agree with me. Not true, Sophia?

With a dejected voice I had to support her.

_ Yes, Grandma. You're right!

_ I'm sorry to take your time, you Audebert. My granddaughter and I are already output. Thank you for your attention and patience.

Regina looked at me without understanding what was happening. So I said:

_ Thank you for believing in me, it meant a lot.

I noticed that she was a little disappointed with my attitude, but what would I do? I could not counter my grandmother, after Layla left, she received me with open arms. Deep down I knew: Grandma was afraid that I created expectations and later suffer. As we walked toward the exit, she asked me to look dedicate my free time to another activity. I said goodbye to the girls in the ring and they also were very sad.
