I watched from the bushes as my golem attacked my only true friend. I'm sorry Ira, but it has to be this way. It's the only way I can keep you safe.  They have to believe I'm on their side.

Ricker's journal had revealed much more than I had old every one.  A soul reaper. The tailed beasts were supposed to be extinct, but here she is. Half wizard half demon. If the faction gets a hold of her it will mean the end of the world as we know it.

"I'm sorry Princess." I whisper to the wind as she takes down my monster.

I watch as she falls into Hogwarts' potion master's arms. One transformation is all she has in her. I shake my head. She should have been training those powers. Her lack of control will make her vulnerable.

"I'll keep them off your tail for as long as I can Ira, but you need to be ready." They we're already gone. Dumbledore had come to the rescue.

I walked through the forest of Ira's estate. She had chosen this location specifically for the dense forests that surround the property as well as the forty foot wall that encased the full fifteen hundred acres. Then as added protection she had placed spells and old sigils in the stone. Magic wise it nearly untouchable. Unless you knew how to get around those spells or permission to enter as I have.

The faction's hide out is disguised as an old abandoned warehouse. Outside it looks like a creepy place that you avoid because that's where all the local druggies are hanging out. The boss even keeps a few muggle addicts around just for that purpose.

Inside however was a grand mansion about half the size of Ira's. Let me tell you, that kills her father.

"What do you mean she got away?!" James Greyson's voice boomed across the room from his makeshift throne.

I shrugged. "There were more people in the house than we anticipated. Plus Dumbledore showed up. We stood no chance." He didn't need to know that I stayed outside and sent my golem in alone.

"What was Dumbledore doing there?" Lucious Malfoy's velvety voice interjected.

"Do I look like I know?" I snapped at him. Stupid death eater.

He gave me a hard look. He suspects, but cannot prove that I'm not loyal. I stared back at him.

James Greyson practically growled at the two of us. "Enough! Alex you are to go to England. You will watch her. Bring her to me the first chance you get. Fail me again and you will not come out so unscathed!"

"Yes sir." I inclined my head.

"Get out!" He bellowed.

I turned and walked out the door. I need to find a way to get word to the Princess. Hopefully she understood my message from the golem.

:flashback:

"Wow! This place is so beautiful!" Ira smiles from railing.

I enjoyed watching her smile. It's not very often that she relaxes. Her red hair was blowing in the wind. The sun made it shine like a macabre river of blood. It's so beautiful I thought to myself. She's beautiful.

I smiled at her. "They call this place, where the moon meets the sky, because of how clearly the sky reflects in its waters. Back in the day bathing here was supposed to bring good fortune. Some even say that a magical deity lives under the water granting wishes to any she deems worthy."

"Is that so?" She laughed. "Maybe we should go for a dip. Maybe she'll grant our wishes for peaceful lives."

I laughed back. "That'd have to be one hell of a deity."

:end:

I smiled sadly at the memory. I never told her. Now I'll probably never get the chance. I don't see making it out of this alive. As soon as I was out of the building I apparated to the Hogwarts gates.

I headed towards the forest. Now it's just a matter of sit and wait. I rolled Ira's crystal around in my pocket. How many times had she called? I wonder what she thinks of me now?
