Chapter 19

•Shiann's P.O.V•
Jahseh didn't answer any of my calls which pissed me off. My legs started shaking and I was get really upset. "What's wrong?" Ashanti asked me. "He's not fucking answering me, he's probably playing stupid video games with Craig and Coolie" I said. I turned my phone off and went downstairs to get a water bottle. Just then I heard a knock on the front door. I opened it and my whole mood changed.

"Kayla!" I screamed. Kayla is my cousin and bestfriend in one. She's like my second favorite person in the whole world. "Hey girl" she said while hugging me. "What are you doing here?" I asked. I was shocked because she lives in NY not Florida. "School break so I decided to come visit, how are you?" She asked. We went into the kitchen and took a seat. "I'm good just pissed off a little bit" I said. "Uh oh why?" She asked. "My boyfriend isn't answering his phone" I said. She looked at me confused. "Who the Jah-Hah-Say kid?" She asked. I rolled my eyes and laughed. "It's Jahseh and yes him who else am I with?" I asked. My sister then came downstairs. "I'm bored let's do something" my sister said. "I can't, it's a school night" I said. "Yeah I just came in let me settle down" Kayla said. My sister rolled her eyes and head upstairs. "You can stay in my room with Ashanti and I or you can sleep in the guest room" I said to Kayla while helping her bring her luggage upstairs. "I'll take the guest room" she said. I dropped her stuff off in the guest room and then went into my bedroom. "I'm coming to school tomorrow" Ashanti said. "You sure?" I asked. She nod her head yes.

I walked over to my phone and continued calling Jah but he didn't answer. I just threw my phone and went to bed.

•The Next Morning•
I woke up with the worst feeling ever. My head was booming badly, as in booming I meant hurting so bad. I had the worst headache ever. My stomach was hurting and my body just felt sore. "I'm gonna have to miss today" I told Ashanti. She looked at me like she wanted to choke me to death. "WHAT!? I just started feeling better and ready to head back and now your sick!?" She yelled. We never take each other serious so I just started laughing. "Ugh Fine, I'll see you later sis" she said then she walked out. I didn't even bother to call Jahseh because he wanted to be a ass and not answer his phone.

I brushed my teeth and then decided to go downstairs and cook myself some breakfast. "Why are you home?" My mom asked. "I'm not feeling well, hey so did you speak to Hakeem's parents about the viewing and funeral date and time?" I asked. "Sunday is the viewing and Monday is the funeral, viewing is at 4pm-7pm and funeral is from 8am-11am" she said. "Oh okay thanks mom" I said. As my mom is walking out I heard a male voice saying hi to her so I walked out. "Good morning new girl" Grayson said. "Oh hey gray and I'm not even new anymore" I said playfully rolling my eyes". "Can I chill here? Kinda not feeling school today" He asked. I mean I'm not going to school anyways so might as well chill with him. "Yeah sure come in" I said to him. He came in and looked around. "You have a nice house" he said. I smile and grabbed his hand. We walked in the kitchen and took a seat. "So why you home?" He asked. "Not feeling well and I'm not really feeling school today either" I said. We just sat there and talked.

•Jahseh's P.O.V•
Ashanti pulled up to class by herself. Where tf is Shiann? I couldn't leave class because we were in a middle of a test.I was distracted because all I was thinking about is where she's at and who she with. After we finished the test I asked if I can be excused. I decided to head to her house and check on her. I knocked the door and Grayson answered. "What the fuck are you doing here!?" I asked loudly. Shiann then came. "Why is he here?" I asked her. I don't want her hanging out with any other niggas. She's All Mine! "Calm down we're just hanging out" Shiann said rolling her eyes. I'm guessing she has a attitude because I didn't answer her calls last night. "Why you home?" I asked her. "Because I'm not feeling well, Grayson can you call me later? I'm gonna go lay down" she asked stupid ass Grayson. My fist balled up and my blood was boiling. "Uh Yeah sure, feel better" he said to her then he hugged her! He left and I wanted to follow him and beat his ass but I have to fix things with Shiann.

"So where were you last night?" She asked me. "I was busy in the studio" I said to her. "Ok" she said. I walked up to her and hugged her. "Please don't be mad at me, I'm so sorry" I said hugging her. "How can you not expect me to be mad Jah!? I thought something happened to you!" She yelled. "Well I'm fine okay!?" I yelled back. She rolled her eyes and went upstairs. This is the first time we ever argued or ever been mad at each other. I went upstairs into her bedroom and took a seat next to her. "I'm sorry okay?" I said to her. "It's okay Jah, can we just drop it? I don't wanna argue with you" She said to me. I kissed her forehead and we both laid down watching TV.
