"You have about 3 seconds to put that but where it came from or so help me I'll beat your ass"
Timidly I place the book on my stack and stare wide eyed waiting for a reaction

"This is why we don't go out," Kayleigh abruptly states and crosses her arms over her chest, scowling at me.
"Okay but listen I NEED this if-"
"You're not going to die please put it back you already have too much."

"No" Sluggishly I grip the books closer

"Christ don't make me fight you for it"
I flinch and bring the books even closer to my chest as she reaches forward
"You touch and I'll cut," Kayleigh's eyes darken as she clenches her jaw
"PUT THE DAMN BOOK DOWN RIGHT NOW"
A few people turn as she yells, some looking annoyed some concerned
Holding eye contact I grab the book and harshly slam it on its shelf
I check the remaining six books out as Kayleigh stand behind me clearly agitated.
Walking forward she grabs the bag and my hand yanking me from the store after saying a quick thanks behind her.
"Let's go get food" I leave her to pull me to the food court and when we get there she sits me down at a table and turns to walk away
"Do you want a large fry?" She nods and walks away upon seeing my thumbs up
Naturally I began playing on my phone not really clicking anything in particular. Just scrolling and looking through my apps.
My eyes unzoom as I stare into space purely out of bordism.
Blinking I see a person smiling at me.
Waving at them my phone becomes my main focus again as I awkwardly realize I'd been staring at them
A sudden tug at my sleeve forced me to focus on a pair of children. Staring up at me. Intently.
"Uhm, hi?" The one smiles a wide boxy smile and the other looks at me like in awe or something
"...do you need..my.,help with something?"
They both start giggling. I smile cause it's cute before one tries to climb on my lap
He falls when he loses grip on my sleeve however he just just gets up to try again so this time I prepare and help him up before the other also climbs up.
Fidgeting around to fit they press tight into each other
"What your name," the one asks poking my nose
"Aubrey, what is yours? I question poking his nose back mockingly
"I'm Jin, hes Nick" he pokes my nose again and then turns to the other boy and pokes his cheek
I turn my head and poke the other kids cheek still mocking Jin.
"Hey there" he giggles and presses my hand away poking each of his pointer fingers into my cheek
I stick my tongue out to which he mocks
Jin pulls on shirt and pushed his finger on my nose again, sticking his tongue out too
His brother laughs and I smile at him
He pulls his tongue back in and grins his boxy smile again.
I turn my head when I hear a squeaky awing from beside me
Jin started playing with my hands as Him and Nick turned to look at what I was looking at.
Low and behold a smiling Kayleigh stood with a tray of food and slushies
"Hi Kayleigh,did you get everything?"
She sits the tray down and sits across from me resting her head on her hand, still smiling
"Yes, who are these adorable angels" she looks excitedly at the children
"This is Jin and Nick" I introduce and poke each es nose as they begin giggling again
"Awww they are so precious."
She gently leans forward and pets Jin's head, then Nick's
"They aren't animals, don't pet them. It's weird" I make a face at her as she leans back the smile still on her face
"I can't help I love kids I mean look at them. They are adorable" Jin turns and gives her another big boxy smile and Kayleigh just grabs her chest
"Ohmygodd He's so cute" Jin turns to me and smiles widely looking like he's going to burst
Nick silently tugs on my sleeve and I look at him curiously.
He grabs my one shoulder and leans close to me
"What's her" I smile at his curiosity and turn to Kayleigh
"This is Kay, she's my closest friend" Smiling I introduce them, Kay breaks into a closed eye smile and waves enthusiastically at them
Jin waves back with just as much enthusiasm and drags Nick's hands up to wave just as fast
"Hellooo~" Jin's drawn out hello causes Kayleigh's smile to widen more, if that's even possible
"Hi cutey, what are you doing over here? Where's you family?" Suddenly she looks worried as Jin stares at her till he fully comprehends what she said.
Then he turns and points at a women who has a dog sitting at her feet. The dog however is wearing a vest, a service animal?
"Mommys there. I taked Nick to have fun. Abrey look sad too so we cheer her up!"
Jin looks back up at me as his brother nods
"She mades funny faces, she so nice" Jin turns again and tugs on my sleeve, pointing to his mom. I turned to look at her and saw her looking around bewildered and scared.
"How about you go back to you mom, she seems worried about you. I think you should go make her happy too!" I say trying to get the kids to her before she broke down, she looked very pale and fragile as she looked for her kids.
He nods and turns to nick, pointing back to his mom
"Mommy sad! We have go cheer her up" Nick looks between Jin and his mother before nodding, I help them get of my lap quickly trying to usher them over, however Jin clings to my neck and hugs me. I gently hug him back not being used to children before he scuttles off and Nick hugs me too. I squeeze him to me and then let go.
Both shoot out quick goodbyes before running off I wave and Nick turns and waves back, Jin tugging on him.
Upon seeing the pair the women picks them both up quickly. I watch making sure things were alright when Jin pointed and waved at me. The lady turned her head to me were I gave as big and friendly of a smile as possible which she faintly returns and nods at me. I nod back and turn to face Kayleigh again.
"Well that was a fun experience" I say reaching and grabbing the blue slushee
"I want to adopt them they are so cute and nice" she stares longingly at the small family
"I would say go for it but a your a minor and be that would be considered kidnapping" she looks at me wide eyed and reaches forward picking her food off the tray
"It's not kidnapping, it's adopting" she bites into a unwrapped burger and points at me
"Bitch no they are literally with their mother" she looks back over were they had been but they have left by now.
"I'm going have so many children then if I can't have them" after nearly choking on a fry I look up at her
"If you do I'm disowning you I can't imagine you being able to take care of that many children. It scares me" shrugging she just continues to eat her food and I do as well eating and scanning around us before looking back when she begins talking again.
The rest of the time at the mall consisted of wondering and a few small things bought before we left. On the way home we pick up some subs from subway for my parents.
"Leave the subs on the counter I'll text mom" she nods and sits them down before walking off most likely to my room

"Hey, I'm not sure when you guys are coming home but we got subs, there on the counter. We are probably going to do homework then go to sleep."
After staring at my phone for a bit I finally get a response

"Okay that you, well be home in a hour or two don't stay up for us. Who's there with you?"

"Kay she's staying the night"

"Okay tell her I said hi. Love you both see you when we get home"

"Okay love you too see you soon"
I place my phone down on the counter and grab the subs, putting them in the fridge.

"Hey get back here! We don't have much work if we hurry we can watch a movie before going to bed!"
Swiping my phone from the counter I run and jump on my bed where she's sitting she presses me by my forehead so I fall back.
"Don't do that your crumple our paper!"
Sitting up she stares at me then signals in front of here
"Let's go I already started copying your work for you help me"
I sit up and we do our homework, very noisily with the tv on in the back.
After a while I'm I lean back and stand up, put my stuff on my desk and grabbing my pjs
"I'm getting my shower first you can get one when your done" she nods and I walk off to the bathroom shutting the door knowing that being the lil'shit she was she's going to come in to annoy me.
I gather a towel and washcloth from the closet then reach in and turn the shower on.
Stripping, I quickly walk to the shower while avoiding looking in the mirror.
Shortly after lathering shampoo in my hair i hear music approaching, then it stops.
"Christ no" i whisper quickly covering my ears.
"HELLO YOU BEAUTIFUL ASS BITCH, I'M BACK DID YOU MISS ME?" The door slams against the door as she walks in and yells
"WHAT THE FUCK" Screaming I grab the soap and chuck it out of the shower, trying to hit her
I guess I was successful as I heard her let out a string of cuss words
"Hoe why'd you throw soap at me I just wanted to know if I could make Ramon" I slightly open the curtain enough to peep my head out, looking at her holding my soap
"Oh,...I mean go for it make me some too?" I reach out and take the soap and usher her out to which she flips me off with a small smile.
I return this gesture with a grin and get back to washing myself.
After my shower was dont I walk out to her sitting on the couch, two bowls of Ramon I on the coffee table. I sit and grab a blanket, wrapping it quickly around myself to lock the cold out and warm up.
"Finally your done I literally just made Ramon and grilled cheese while you were in the shower you took so long" turning I see her walking towards me with to plates, two grilled cheese sandwhiches in each.
"It was warm you know how much I love my showers" I lightly slap her arm and roll back into a ball
"Go get your shower I'll choose a movie and wait to eat till you get out" a small smile graces her face as she turns and walks away
I turn back around grab the remote, flicking to Netflix and scrolling through to the horror movies
It was the both of our favorite genre of movies and we often have marathons of random horror movies
After picking one I grab my phone from the couch next to me and go onto the App Store, download a handful of random games and start playing them.
I hear a door open halfway through a game and close out, sitting my phone back down beside me and turn to face to doorway.
"You take such long showers I finished a game while you were in there" I mock as she rolls her eyes
"Okay it wasn't that long"
"I know but i like mocking you" I turn and give her a grin as I say this and then turn back to reach for my ramen, bringing it on my lap.
"What'd you pick?" She asks grabbing her ramen as well
"Mhm, Meyhem looks decent so" I gesture at the tv
Shrugging Kayleigh grabs the remote and clicks play
"I'm sorry by the way, for early I just don't want you to waste all your money" Kayleigh apologizes turning and making eye contact with me briefly before I look away back at the movie playing before us.
"It's really fine I know I'm very impulsive when it comes to buying stuff" I reply scooping Ramon and shoving it in my face
"Yeah but you seemed pissed off" I look back over at her quickly and flick my eyes back to the screen
"I'm over it we're cool"
"Okay, I love you and I'm sorry" I look over to see her still looking at me
"Yeah yeah I love you too. Now could you shut up I'm trying to watch something~" Kayleigh rolls her eyes, smiling and looking at the tv finally as I grin at her.
"You're so mean you know that, right?" Finally she begins eating her Ramon
I shrug as we continue to eat our Ramon and watch the movie unfold before us

IM BACK
So a hoe's been gone for how long? Doesn't matter, anyways this chapter is my longest at 2260 and I'm pretty proud of it. imma go do homework now
