Feelings.
Difficult to control,
And can bring you a lot of pain.
Strong feelings for someone,
That aren't returned,
Will leave you in pain.
But who is to say it's their fault?
Who is to say it's yours?
Feelings are never a choice.
Especially one as strong as love.
Making it just as hard to leave.
Leave and go down different paths.
Knowing they won't cross again,
But in this moment your still at that cross way.
Hesitating to show your emotions,
As time runs out,
And the time when you truly do have to say "goodbye" comes.
Comes like a bullet to the head,
Where the damage holds no end...
