Drowning in my thoughts,
Choking on my tears,
Shaking at the feeling.
I'm not just nervous,
I'm scared.
That we'll lose what we've developed,
The friendships I call home.

An infinite object that likes to look me in the eyes and mock me,
And tell me to grow up.

And friendship is meant to be temporary,
Friends are meant to break apart.

Time can't mock me anymore, because I am growing.
But not in the way it tells me to...
