the alarm was blaring through the room, being one of the worst possible things to wake up to. on top of the annoying alarm, y/n was 10 minutes late to dance practice. she jumped out of bed and ran into the bathroom. jeno was going to kill her.
"shit shit shit shit shit shit shit shit" she said continuously as she ran out the front door, being so very thankful that she lived so close to the dance studio.
y/n ran through the doors and made her way over to the teacher as quick as possible, catching her breath as soon as she got there.
"i am so sorry i'm late, my alarm didn't go off until late and i was rushing out the door and i couldn't find my dance bag and-"
"it's alright, jeno is waiting for you so i would hurry up and get over there to finish the dance, he looks kind of angry." thank god the teacher was nice, otherwise y/n would have been in deep shit.
y/n slowly made her way over to jeno, who was pacing in front of the mirror. she slowly reaches her hand forward and tapped jeno on the shoulder, followed by him whipping around and shouting in her face.
"IF THIS HAPPENS ONE MORE TIME I SWEAR TO GOD I WONT BE SO NICE TO YOU. DO YOU KNOW HOW MUCH TIME HAS BEEN WASTED TO WORK ON THE DANCE JUST WAITING FOR YOU??" y/n took small steps back, visibly shaking. she was terrified, she didn't know what he would do to her. after all, he was her bully for all of middle school.
"i'm sorry." her voice was really quiet and you could hear it shaking. all eyes in the dance studio were on the two.
"if you are sorry, don't let it happen again. this is a warning." his voice was stern and deep, which to most people would make them love him even more, but to y/n, it only signaled danger. he turned around and started stretching, along with practicing the beginning of the dance, giving you some time to go to the locker rooms and get into your dance clothes.
this was going to be a long day. y/n sighed and looked in the mirror. why out of all people did she have to be partnered with him?
