it's been another month, and here i am again.

im lost for words, i couldn't formulate a poem.

so i did this again.

i cant believe im actually doing this, but it's funny since i want to continue it.

remember when i told you to listen to the song i composed?

you laughed at me, saying that the song was nonsense.

that the only thing meaningful was the beat-- the tone and the vibe.

i smiled despite what you said. because that was the point.

music, even if it said less meaningful words and said words that could not be understood,

if it touched you with its vibe, it will make you understand the song.

it will connect you with the real purpose of composing the song.

i didnt tell you about that because i knew you'd tell me im blabbering nonsense.

i smiled bitterly at everything you said about the first composed song i had.

when i made you listen to the second one, the one that was better.

understandable, clear, obviously better than the first.

however, the only flaw was that it was in english.

you're korean, i get that a lot. im half too. i understand that you wouldn't like it.

but i was expecting you'd atleast compliment me that time.

it all drained out when you laughed at me and said,

"dont attempt anymore, i dont think you can do it."

i smiled, again. accepting the bitter defeat.

of course, you're the one with experience. who am i to reach your level.

but then you smiled softly at me, hugged me, whispered in my ears the words that brought me to tears.

i didnt think you'd tell me that.

you werent complimenting me, you saw the bad side always.

you saw the flaws.

so i was touched.

"everything you do is beautiful. effortlessly, you do things that are beyond good."

you let go of the hug and turned your back on me, whispering the last words you couldnt say.

"so dont attempt to show it to me anymore. i dont think you can do anything that would not impress me."
