A little problem [Lucifer x Chloe]. -slow updates-

I've had this chapter almost done for like a month now and I just forgot now we have a release date and I'm a bit more motivated 🥰 enjoy!

"I'm gonna call Matt, see if he knew that Diana was pregnant." Said Chloe.

"Who?" Lucifer asks

"The instructor." Chloe says agitated.

She takes out her phone and dials the number she collected from his card he handed her.

"Hey Matt, we met today. Yes Jenna." Chloe laughed "alright I've just got a couple of follow to questions for you" she says. "Alright see you then." She hangs up.

"Where are you going?" Lucifer Asks.

"Matt asked me to meet him at the his home. Apparently Diana's family is over too." She grabs her coat.

"Whoa you're not going without me." He says standing up.

"Calm done Lucifer, you'll have to stay in the car let's go."

"Why the car?!" He whines.

"Because you tend to, upset grieving people..." she says.

He gasps. "I am very understanding detective. It's not my fault they are ignorant to the occurrences of the after life" he says seriously.

"Well no matter the case just wait in the car alright." She says

"We'll see." Lucifer mumbles.

"Why are you being so bitter about this case?" Chloe asks him.

"Because I think the fetus has gotten to your head detective, you're missing the answer right in front of you." Lucifer smirks.

"Oh yah?" She asks sarcastically and Lucifer nods vigorously.
"Mhm" new says.

"And you know you said that about Matt too?" She humors him.

"Well if you're on a first name bassist with him he surely isn't the bad guy." He jokes bitterly.

"Stop making it personal, besides he's got an Alibi he was with some guys he met in college." She says

"Who knew you need your masters to be a spin instructor." Lucifer laughs at himself. Chloe just gives him a face. "Oh come on you have to admit it's a little funny." He says and she looks down at the ground to smile, she couldn't help but laugh at how funny he thought he was.

"Alright Sherlock tell me, who's our killer?" She asks

"the husband.." Lucifer puts his hands in the air and does a small bow. He was extremely sure in himself.

"And why do you think that?" She asks him.

"It's always the husband." Lucifer says in a DUHHH voice.

"One small problem the husband was away on business." Chloe says.

"Comes home early to see his wife in bed with the man he pays 500$ a month to teach her how to ride a bike in place motive! I mean it's not like he could have went far. What does he do? Sell paper? " Lucifer rambles.

Chloe picks up the sheet and exams the previous report. "He was in.... palm beach!" Chloe picks up her phone to call dan.

"Hey dan I need you find out where Carl Richards was the night of Christine and darla's murder!" Chloe is frantic and hangs up.

She quickly grabs her jacket and keys and hurries out the door.

"Where are we going!" Lucifer says follows her.
