A little problem [Lucifer x Chloe]. -slow updates-

Beep beep beep.

Why whenever Chloe and Lucifer had an outing she ended up in the hospital.

She felt the familiar scent of saline and tears. Everything around her felt cold from the fluids entering her body through the needle in her arm.
Everything but her right hand. Someone had been squeezing it. Their fingers wrapped around hers. First thing she did when she opened her eyes was look left. Trixie had been fast asleep on the chair. Chloe was glad she was alive , and mostly because of her daughter who was everything to her.

Than right. There was Lucifer. Head laying next her on the bed. Hand in hers. This wasn't a Lucifer thing to do. But he was here with her. How could she fear that?

Than she remember her baby. They baby she also had feared at one point. Sure they were the child of the devil himself, but Lucifer bled. Was her baby alright, she felt frantic.

"Lucifer, lucifer." She shook him awake and he instantly sprung up
"No more whipped cream" he mumbled and Chloe rolled her eyes.

"You're awake detective, fantastic." He said with a stupid toothy smile standing up. "I'm going to get a doctor." He gently stroked her hair, he took his hand and pulled him close to her face.

"Lucifer the baby, is the baby okay?"

"Oh right, about that.." he says trailing off And chloe can feel herself
Losing track of her emotions. He gives her had a squeeze. "It's completely fine detective" he reassures her giving her a warm smile. She pulls her hand from his and smacks him.
"You scared the shit out of me" she said taking a deep breath.
"Should  have listened to me about working detective" he says playful.
"yes cause listening to you in the past has had a great track record" say says.
"How would you know you've never done it." He throughs his hands in the air and Chloe feels the mood in the room lighten.
"What happened after you know.." Chloe tried to sit up and Lucifer tries to push her back down .

"I said it was fine detective, not that you were fine. You need to rest." He insists.

"Lucifer there is a celestial conservative running around killing pregnant women and the only one capable of stoping him is us, therefore we need to get to work right now." She says pushing her hair out of her face.

"Detective no work! An order from
Your doctor the Lieutenant, and the devil himself." He smirks. Chloe rolls his eyes.

"You know I thought the devil would be  taller." Chloe says.
"And I thought the detective would be more grateful." He says smiling
"For what?" She Asks smuggle.
"It was my offspring that saved your life." He says.
"Seriously?" She Asks.
"Who would have thought the angel  of death would bring the seed of life." He laughs at himself.

"Lucifer." Chloe's tone becomes a little  stricter.
Lucifer turns to meet her eyes . He was concerned. "Why were you able to bleed? Why?" She asks. Lucifer hesitates. Would it sound like he was coming on to strong if he told her that the reason his nose had become a fountain was because he was basically in love with her. And since when did he care if he was coming on too strong.

Before he has a chance to answer Trixie started to stir in her chair and eventually wake up. "Mommy?" She says a bright smile growing on her lips. Chloe was ecstatic to here her little girls voice.
"Come here baby!" Chloe says stretching her arms out only for trix to sprint to her throwing her body against her mothers. "Mom! Dad said you were really hurt and Lucifer and and grandma and and and and-" Chloe cuts her daughter off stroking her hair.
"Grandma???" Chloe Asks.
"Lucifer called her when-"
"Lucifer did what?!" Chloe turns to Lucifer.
Lucifer is in the process of backing out the door. "Get back here." And tells him in a threatening voice.

Lucifer is smug, but also very afraid.
"Trixie where's dad?" Chloe Asks her eyes still on Lucifer.
"In the waiting room down the hall. WAIT! He told me to get him when you woke up!" Trixie jumps off the bed and runs out the door going to get dan.

Chloe waits for the door to shut.
"LUCIFER!" She says throwing her hands in the air.
"Dan told me to!" Lucifer says like a 7 year old
Chloe facepalms. "You called my mom?" She Asks in a panic state.
"Well the doctor being the mortal he is thought you might not make it through the night, Dan being Himself decided it would be a good idea to kill your mother, and than he insisted in his bitter doucey ways that I were to be the one to make the call, and i agreed because I knew I was a lot more charming than him, but I don't think that was his reason considering he was not super happy to find out that you were with a child." Lucifer rambles on.

"Dan knows?" Chloe groans.
"Well I wasn't exactly in a beat around the bush type of mood when you were laying on a table." Lucifer says.
"Who else knows ?" Chloe Asks.
"Just about the entire LAPD." Lucifer says casually.
"Trixie?" Chloe Asks. Not concerned about what her coworkers have to say.

"Doesn't know a thing now stop worrying." Lucifer sits on the side of Chloe's bed.

"Can i worry about your evil angel brother?" Chloe Asks.

"Well dad 1 rule, no killing humans. so I'm sure he'll deal with him all on his own." Lucifer assures her.

"And if he doesn't? He can't get you
To go back to... hell. So how is he gonna stop nick?" Chloe rambles.

"You're thinking to much detective. I'll worry about the celestial murderer and you worry about the offspring." Lucifer points to her stomach.

"Lucifer.."
"Detective. The child may be strong but it's not invincible. If I'm able to die around you who's to say it cannot, we've both need to protect it"  Lucifer  says protectively over her she rests her head on his chest, and all though he is taken off guard he enjoyed to feeling of her warmth against himself.

"How am I gonna tell my mother." Chloe changes the subject.

"Tell your mother what?" All of
A sudden the door opens and Chloe's mom walks in eyeing Lucifer with daggers in her glare.
