Just got out from work. Heavy rain poured and everyone was in a hurry to get a ride home. I was sitting at the back of the bus when an old lady sat next to me and gave me a smile. I smiled back and we talked during the trip.
She cut me off in the middle of our conversation.
"Para ho! Oh siya, iha, bababa na ako. Mag-iingat ka!"
The bus stopped. I looked outside and it was still raining heavily and the place was pitch-black. Worried, I immediately took my umbrella and was about to give it to her when suddenly she's gone!
Despite of the rain, the bus conductor was waiting by the door for about 5 minutes but no one got off the bus.
There was a complete silence not until the bus started to run again.
"H'wag niyo kaming pinaglololoko! H'wag kayong pumara kung hindi naman pala kayo bababa!" The bus driver shouted.
Confused, I looked around and really never saw her. I didn't even notice that she's already out.
"Bumaba na siya, miss. Tayo lang ata ang nakakita." The guy from my left side said.
