SEVEN: NATSU HAS AWOKEN

* Lucy's Pov *

It has been a week and Natsu still hasn't woken up. I skipped College to accompany Natsu at the hospital.

The baby in me, is still alright but I haven't got the courage to tell the others about it and yet, Erza already told the others about her and Jellal.

Thus, you could say they are dating right now. Although... if Uncle Gildarts comes back, he'll flip probably because we are a family to begin with.

I mean, ever heard of family members dating each other? No! However, the Alberona and Balserion family is the first and absurd family ever.

I feel that we are a disgrace to society. If only we weren't a family. I am not a Balserion by blood but I still love everyone.

My past... My birth family... I was originally called Lucy Heartfilia, a member of the Heartfilia Konzern.

My father was Jude and my mother was Layla. I had a younger sister name Ashley who was 3 years younger than me.

They all died. Father died in a car accident while mother had passed away due to long-term illness around 4 years later.

When the whole drama happened, I was only 5 while Ashley was 2. I don't remember my father's face but I knew his stories from mother.

Ashley one day became insane all of a sudden with no reasons at all. It was hard to change her. She was insane for about 2 years.

At the age of 7, she was 5 and she somehow tragically jumped off the skyscraper. The Heartfilias were no more.

That was when Irene Balserion decided to adopt me. When I move in with her, Erza was already there. I was the second to be adopted.

"Lucy?" I look up and thought Natsu was awake but no.

I turn behind and let out a sigh. It was only Rogue.

"Lucy, you should rest. I'll take care of Natsu" says Rogue.

"Just let me Rogue" I said tiredly.

"But Lucy..."

"Rogue please, I want to stay by Natsu-- N-Natsu?! Rogue, call the doctor!" I said when I saw Natsu opening his eyes.

I cried of happy tears and I saw Natsu awake. I wipe away my tears and helped him to sit up straight on the bed.

"Lucy?" My smile somehow dropped.

"Y-Yeah. You alright Natsu? Do you remember what happened to you?" I ask.

Lucy... He called me Lucy, no longer Luce. So now I'm just a family member to him? Maybe I shouldn't even mention about the baby.

"I think so... I felt like I have a dream. Natsu Dragneel, that was suppose to be my name but Igneel, my father disappeared while Gildarts found me days later" says Natsu.

"O-Other than that?" I ask.

As Natsu was about to answer, the doctors came in and gave Natsu a check up. The doctor says that Natsu doesn't have signs of memory loss.

Is that meant to be a good sign? Does he remember? I'm scared to let Natsu know.

"And as for you Miss Heartfilia, do not get too stressed up as it isn't good for the baby. Now, please excuse me" the doctor says and he left.

My eyes widen in surprise. What did he just say? Miss Heartfilia? How did that doctor knew my original last name?

Clearly I wasn't born in Magnolia Hospital, it was Heartfilia Private Hospital. So how does he know my original last name?

"Lucy, what did he meant by 'baby'?" Rogue ask.

I froze. I forgot he also mention about my baby out loud. Natsu and Rogue heard it. I swallowed my saliva hard as I turn to face them.

"Yeah Lucy, what is Rogue talking about? What baby? Who is the father?" Natsu ask.

"Even if I were to say who the father is, none of you would believe me" I said.

"Is it... me?" My eyes widen.

"Natsu, what are you saying?" Rogue ask.

"W-Why would you be the f-father N-Natsu?" I ask with a nervous chuckle.

"Rogue, leave us alone for a moment" says Natsu.

"Natsu--"

"Rogue, just leave first" I said and Rogue nodded and left.

I sighed and sat down beside Natsu's bed as I held two of my sweaty hands together. Yes, it's sweating despite being it in air conditioned room.

"Lucy tell me" says Natsu.

"What makes you think you are the father Natsu?" I ask.

"Base on my memories and experience. I remember everything Luce"

He does remember. He called me Luce. Honestly, my heart tingles when he calls me Luce.

"Okay fine... The baby inside of me, it's yours and mine" I said.

I thought Natsu would abandon me or something but no, instead he gave me a hug and I was shock. Is Natsu not mad?

"Natsu... Aren't you mad?" I ask.

"Why would I be when I love you?"

My eyes widen as I back away from him. So he wasn't joking about his feelings when he really love me?

"Think I was joking because of my condition? Well, you're wrong Luce. Even before that accident, I've already fallen for you" he says.

"Then, why didn't you said anything before?" I ask.

"Because we were a family. When I had the accident, I felt like I was switched with another me, the childish me. But he could speak like an adult.

He took over me for the past 2 years but somehow our feelings are one. We both love you and thus, he decided to confess on behalf of me" says Natsu.

"When did you--"

"A really long time Luce" says Natsu and he suddenly kiss my lips.
