'Miss, this isn't fair. I don't want to work with he-' Josh started speaking in a rush, flailing his arms around and his face reddening with every word.

'Joshua I don't care wether you like it or not you are going to work with Mia and Ella.' Mrs Hopkins interrupted him in annoyance.

Josh huffed and mumbled a quiet 'fine' before turning to his best friend Jaymi and mumbling not so quietly rude remarks about me. I pretended not to care but in all honesty I did, I actually cared a lot, I just hid the fact that I cared really well.

Once all the groups had been assigned we had the rest of the lesson to decide when we will all work on the project together. Ella sat next to me and started discussing when I could go to her house and it honestly made me feel so happy, it had been so long since someone had invited me to their house and I was so excited that my voice probably raised 10 octaves whilst I was telling her my number. Once I had given her my number, we started to talk idly just about our lives and what we enjoy doing in our spare times. Seeing that I was actually making a friend, Josh decided to come over, he leaned against the table in between Ella and I, I tried to avoid eye contact with him and just fumbled around with my cardigan.

'So Ella she's doing it all, we don't have to do anything.' Josh spoke softly to Ella, completely ignoring the fact that I was right beside him.

'No Josh, we are all going to work on it together, I seriously don't care what you say. My house tonight at 7, be there or you will get a fail.' Ella spoke through gritted teeth, obviously annoyed at Josh's antics. Before he could ever reply Ella had gotten her stuff together and said 'bye' to be before she left the classroom. I got up and packed my things into my backpack, I was about to leave when Josh nudged me, I just looked towards him but stayed quite.

'See you tonight nerd.' Josh growled and shoved me towards the desks causing me to loose balance and fall over. This commotion got the attention of everyone else left in the classroom and let's just say that I was the laughing stock for the day. Nothing new there.

I was not looking forward to the evening.
