~chapter twenty three~

Josie's p.o.v:
It's been a while since the boys gave me my biggest present, which was obviously my family, the twins have met and held the little twins for the first time since they were born, and my mum and I have been catching up on everything. We aren't planning on doing much today however because the babies are going to a babysitter today until later AND my mum has agreed to take care of "her grand babies" for the night after 11, because the twins will have to be in bed by then. That's when the party starts. The girls and I aren't a big fan of surprise parties. Mainly because we are gobby and speak none stop so it wouldn't work. So we are all going out to buy food for my party while the boys set it up. Nash has to leave earlier today to go back home so he is coming with us. ALL my friends are coming to the party, issi, Amy, art, Blake, Blake's new girlfriend is coming as well. And Dan. Any way now that's all been explained.

It's now 2pm and me and the girls (and Nash) are going shopping. First for our outfits then for food, lots and lots of food. I jump in the drivers side of the car.
Ellie: shot gun!
Jess: damn!
Nash: unfair, she's my girlfriend.
I roll my eyes.
Ellie: she was mine first!
Jess: Josie, why did you have to bring Nash, they are gonna fight all the way there!
I sigh: he is leaving later today, I ain't gonna see him for a while!
Ellie scowls: a week! Josssiiiieeeee tell nash that you love me more then him and so I should sit in the front...
Me: I'm not-
Ellie pouts: say it!
I roll my eyes: I like Ellie more...
Nash: harsh...
I smile innocently and kiss him after around a second I feel a hand pushing me apart from him I turn my head slightly to see Ellie scowling in disgust
Ellie: eww, stop kissing and get driving.
We all laugh and get into the car.

It's now the party and it's the first time I have really had to myself since the twins and I am planning to make the most of it. Nash has left. Which Ellie is extremely happy about and so is rye and mikey, and jack. So pretty much everyone? Anyway. My girls and I are sat on a blanket in the corner of the lawn which is surrounded by fairy lights. The boys are playing foot ball, I have said hi to most of them and it's a pretty good party to say the least.
Rye: Josie have a kick?
I shake my head: not today!
Andy: oh come on!
Me: not happening.
Jack comes over slinging me over his shoulder and then plopping me down in front of the ball. I roll my eyes.
Me: what am I doing?
Mikey smiles: hitting the cross bar!
I look at my shoes: I am in heels.
(Let's pretend the grass won't ruin the heels)
Jack: so?
I kick my heels off and pass them to rye before booting the ball as hard as I could. I turn around as it hits the cross bar and curtsy.
I smirk: and that my friends is how it's done.
Andy looks at me in astonishment: how?
Mikey laughs: what the-
I point at rye: what can I say I learn from the best!
Rye winks at me and laughs: she said it!
I get my shoes back on and walk back over to the girls.
Me: I AM READY TO GET DRUNK AND REGRET IT TOMORROW!!
The girls whistle and cheer as they bring over bottles of beer and some shots.
Before we know it we are lying on our backs staring at the sky, drunk as can be, but we are loving it.
Me: you, you know, if you look hard enough you can see the Milky Way...
Jess shakes her head: nooooo, the Milky Way is a chocolate bar, that isn't in the sky you idiot!
Ellie giggles: Jess she means the galaxy!
Jess: wait... the other chocolate... I want chocolate anyone else want chocolate?
I nod: meeee!
Mikey comes over to us and laughs before shouting over to the other boys. It seems like the party is over as the garden is left in a mess and no one else is there.
Me: where is everyone?
Rye: can't you remember? You were talking to them all like 30 minutes ago saying goodbye, and then you came back over here and well-
Jess: so the party is over?
Andy nods
Jess pouts: nooo, but I was really enjoying it!
Brook laughs: we know.
Ellie: what time is it?
Jack: 1:30am
I shoot up: no it's not!
The boys nod.
Rye and Andy go and pick up Ellie and Jess taking them inside.
Mikey holds his arm out: come on let's get you to bed...
I tap the ground: sit.
Mikey rolls his eyes and lyes down next to me.
I smile: did you enjoy the party?
He nods: it was fun.
I tilt my head: was it?
Mikey laughs: yes, now let's get you inside before you freeze...
I smile as he helps me get up and wraps his arm around me for support. I hobble back into the annex and mikey follows helping me into my bed.
I smile at him: mikeyyy...

Mikeys p.o.v:
I turn around: what?
Josie closes her eyes before speaking again: you are so good to me.... you are like Soooo kind.... and I.... I want you to know I appreciate you.
I smile slightly: thankyou. I appreciate you too.
I start to walk away and as I am closing her bedroom door I hear her mumble: I don't know why I always turn you down or push you away, you are like the perfect guy and I would do anything to have you but when I have you... I just... I just get rid of you... and then I want you again...
I sigh before closing the door. Did she really mean that, or was it because she was drunk?
