You're Not Alone

"Nagai??" I hear a voice snap me out of my trance, and I realize I was starring at his lips. I look up at him, still blushing slightly. "Uhm, y-yeah?" I accidentally stutter. He gives me a confused look, making me look away a bit embarrassed. "Are you ok? Do you need more rest?" He asks in a soft voice. I melt, hearing the care and concern gently laced in his voice. I shrug a bit, "Possibly.." I trail off a bit.

I feel his warmth slowly leave from beside me and I look up at him as he stands. "You should get more rest Kei," he starts to leave before I shout at him, "Wait!..." He turns around and looks at me confused, "what is it?? Something wrong?" He comes back over, kneeling beside the bed and looking up at me. "I-I jus, don't wanna be all alone is all.." I trail off, once again. He smiles softly, getting up, pulling a chair over right beside the bed, and sitting in it, "I'll be here when you awake, I promise." I nod, slowly laying down on my side, facing him. He leans back against the chair slightly, still smiling.

"Rest well Kei. Remember, you're not alone. I'll see you when you wake up." With that, I slowly start drifting into sleep. Guess I was more tired than I thought. Right as I'm about to fall asleep, I hear Kai getting up. I feel my heart drop a bit but I pretend I'm asleep, but listening to see what he's doing. Then a feel the bed sink a bit. Still asleep. I feel his face get closer. Still asleep.. I feel his lips gently graze over mine, before they slowly connect in a kinda quick, yet such a sweet kiss. Still. Asleep...

In the two seconds our lips were connected, I felt all joy, happiness, confusion, love, passion, so on and so forth. His lips were softer than I thought. I just wanna kiss them again. Yet, I continue to lie "asleep". I hear him sit back down, and I swear, I can see him smiling ear to ear right about now. Looking proud, happy and accomplished. God, I missed him so so much...

~Time Skip; Morning Time~

My eyes slowly flutter open, and i carefully sit up. I rub the sleepiness out of my eyes, looking around the room. "K-.. Kei?" I say sleepily. Right at that moment I see him walk into the room and smile, "how'd you sleep?" I yawn amd stretch a bit. "Mmm, good." He sits in the chair and hands me a water bottle. I carefully take it, opening it and taking a drink. "Thank you so much.. For literally, everything." I speak as I close it, "it's amazing, after everything I've put you through, after shunning you a few times, you're still so nice to me.."

I look up at him with a small smile. He smile back, "Well, of course. I'm practically the only friend you've got at this point." He laughs a bit. I chuckle a bit as well, then suddenly remember last night. "I had an, interesting dream last night." He looks at me a bit confused, then leans back in his chair. "Wanna tell me about it?" He asks, and I nod, smiling a bit mischievously.

Wowie, it's been a while huh😅 Sorry about that... But, holy wow. I didn't know there were people that actually read this let-alone actually liked it and wanted to see more.-. But, alas, here it is😊 Thank you guys so so soooooo much for the patients, support, and jus ahhh lol
