Be Mine

Kei's POV

I smile and nod softly, "I would love to watch the sunset with you this evening." I see him smile, so happily, and he excitedly hugs me. I hug him tightly feeling more calm then ever.  He slowly pulls away, looking into my eyes as I look into his for a little while. I notice how close our faces are, making us both blush and look away shyly. I giggle slightly, causing Kai to look at me confused. "Its nothing I guess.. I just still cant get over how happy I am." I speak softly.  I hear him hum a bit, "I couldn't agree more..." I feel his warm hands grab mine. Right as I look up, he kisses my cheek. It was such a soft touch, like a butterfly. Making me melt, smiling even more.

After a while, the sun is starting to set. So me and Kai grab some blankets and sit out on the porch, watching the sky and smiling. I shyly lay my head on his shoulder, and he lays his head on mine. It soon got dark, and the only lights were the ones in the sky. I hold his hand tightly, as I feel myself getting tired. "Nagai..." I lift my head to look at Kaito when he spoke. As I do, I feel one of his hands cupping the side of my face and pulling me into a deep, yet passionate kiss. I'm shocked at first, but not after long I close my eyes and kiss him back.

We sit there kissing for a bit. We shyly pull away from each other, gazing into one others eyes. He smiles sweetly, making me smile as well. Some peoples smiles really are contagious, and I love his. It makes me feel at peace for once. He, makes me feel at peace for once. This time, I'm not running. I'll never run away from him again. I want to be with him, always. I'm broken away from my thoughts as Kai slowly stands up. I look up at him, to see him looking down at me, still smiling. Then he starts speaking.

"Kei... I never stopped thinking about you. Even after the times you've ran away from me and shunned me and such. I couldn't stop myself from worrying, and wondering if you were ok. Wondering if you were eating properly, and drinking enough water. If you were sleeping well.. Ah- so on and so forth..." He smiles nervously while rubbing the back of his neck. I feel myself blush a bit. "Um, anyway, what I'm trying to say is.... I really like you, and I have for a very long time it seems. Heh, it seems like I've played this moment in my head for a while, I wanted it to be perfect. To me I'd say there no other perfect moment than right now to ask. So, Kei... Will you be my boyfriend?"

My eyes widen as my blush deepens and my heart feels like it's trying to jump out of my chest. He then holds his hand out to me, looking me in my eyes, as if looking into my soul. "Will you be mine.. Forever?"
