Shiro didnt have to yell at me, It was completely uncalled for. GOD! I freaking hate this stupid team. I plopped down on the floor, and started to pout, I mean Keith will do stuff like that all the time, in battle for god sakes, why was is such a big deal that I did it, In FREAKING practice! I was petty. I got up off the floor and started for my bathroom, I was going to take a shower. I took two towels off my bed, smelled them and deemed them clean enough to use. I slipped the door closed behind me, turned on "everybody knows" by Sigrid. turned on the water and pulled it all the way hot. I slowly pulled my shirt off, it was sweat soaked. I looked in the mirror, looking at all my imperfections, my blemishes, the way my left eye was a lighter shade of brown than the other, the way my smile was to teeththy. I started humming the tune to the song playing, I touched my face looking at the little bit of scruff I had growing, I planned to shave, I never liked the way I looked with facial hair. And just as I pulled out my razor The mirror started to fog up i would shave after my shower I guess. I stepped back, and started to unbuttoned my pants. I was singing at this point
"Everybody knows the dice are loaded "
I slid them down my legs, they were also soaked with sweat, I sat down on the toilet and took the ends of my pants off my body, I threw the unneeded piece of clothing on the floor, I then proceeded to take off my boxers,

"Everybody knows the war is over "

I slid them off in the same manner as my pants, they ended up in the same place. I stood up, naked, the room steamy hot, sexy music was playing and the lights were dim, if only i weren't single, I stepping in the shower the hot water hitting my back, dirt and sweat ran off my body, I stood there for a while before I grabbed my shampoo. I stepped back away from the water. Squeezed a giant glop of it into my hand, I placed said glop onto my head, and started vigorously rubbing it into my hair

I closed my eyes and steped back into the comfortable hot water. Soap ran down my face, then my body and eventually down the drain, I waited for the water to run clear before shutting off the shower. I stood their for a moment. Preparing my self for the bitter cold I was going face as I stepped out of the metal bath. I opened the shower door, skerritted to the towel rack, speedily dryed off. And finally put my hair into the twisty hair dryer towel trick thingy. My sister in- law sofie showed me how to do it. The other towel was wrapped around my body. I took the towel off for just a quick second to wipe the steam currently clinging to my mirror. I was once again securely covered in my blue towel. I grabbed the razor next to me, and with my face still wet, shaved the disgusting scruff off my face. When I  was finally done,I saw it, it was horrible.... absolutely horrible
My eyebrows had grown out! I needed to fix this immediately. I looked under the sink to find tweezers located next my box of condoms, why I had a 3 year old box of condoms under my sink, idk, but it didnt matter, my eyebrows were my highest priority. I leaned in towards the mirror my face only a few centimeters away. I started by plucking the few very obvious hairs first, which hurt like hell. Then I moved onto the more tedious hairs the ones that you didnt have to necessarily pluck, but you looked like a hobo if you didnt. Well a hobo in my opinion. My eyes where red, the skin next to my eyebrows stung, but it was all worth it for. I looked like a eyebrow queen. I finally was able to present myself I stepped forward as the bathroom door slid open. I walked over to my dresser, and was shuffling through the mess that was my wardrobe. I heard a nock at my door. Before thinking

I said "Come in"

Thank goodness it was hunk and not someone else, hunk was my best friend and had seen me like this before.

"Hey, lance pidge sent me down here to tell you that she needs everyone in the dinning hall as soon as possible."

I was confused "is training over already?"

"Yeah, shiro decided it would be best of we cut training short" hunk tried to be nice about it, but shiro cut training short because of me. Great.

I groaned  "m'kay just give me a sec, unless everyone wants an accidental flash"

Both hunk and i chuckled. He left and i got dressed. I slipped on my iconic jacket over my black tshirt and blue jeans. Sprayed on some cologne and headed for the dinning hall. I walked in, pidge was standing at the head of the table, hunk sat next to her. I pulled up a chair.

"Okay pidge what is this about?"

" what you got somewhere else to be?"

Kieth and shiro walked in. I glared at kieth

" for your information I do! I was planning to throw a stick " Keith looked confused I crossed my arms.

" hoping you want to go fetch it and leave" I gave a smirk

" that doesn't even make sense!?" Keith was right it was a really stupid joke, but I would never tell him that.

" okay, behave yourself, I've gathered you here because, I have something."pidge interrupted

"Pidge I swear if you built another robot cat I'm going to- " Keith grumbled

"No, no I didn't, I have.......... letters!!"

She held them out so we could see, we all got very excited, it seems like we never get letters anymore. Pidge handed them out as usual. First hunk, his had 5 pages, all from different family members, the last page was new recipe from his mom, Tamah. Pidge put hers on her seat, it was from Matt, he just finished the robot he was working on. Keith got his next, it was from his mom, he would never say it but he treasured letters, it made him feel special, knowing his mom was still thinking about him, it made him feel like she was close. Even if she was galaxies away. Pidge handed me mine, I didnt look at it, only out of manners, waiting to see if shiro got one, and to his surprise he did, it was from Adam, he was alive, and happy to know shiro was too, it was awkward since they haven't seen each other in years. After pidge handed it to him, I looked at mine the words:
" urgent - veronica"
Plastered on the top, it wasnt hand written, but a voice message instead, I needed to leave, if my sister said it was urgent it was urgent, I looked up from the message, the others talking amongst themselves, rather loudly.

" I need to go" I said firmly.

immediately turning around and leaving i knew the others wouldn't really care, they were to excited about their own letters, to be concerned with me, I walked down the hall towards the dorms passing, room 2, then 3 then 4 then 5, I stepped in the smell of well, me wafted towards my face, oof my laundry smelt, I quickly picked up the pile of clothes on my floor and threw them in a basket before plopping myself onto my bed, I layed back and clicked the button next to the message. Veronica spoke.
she was crying .....
