Week 3: Day 3

Emma stood on the beach and looked around for Jax. As soon as she saw him, she ran to him and wrapped her legs around his waist.

"Jax!" she exclaimed, kissing him.

"Hey Em. What are we doing?"

"Carnival!" she exclaimed.

[Emma Confessional:
"Yup, I'm taking him to the local carnival! It's gonna be so much fun!"]

The two walk to the carnival and decide to ride the Ferris Wheel (It's one of those wheels where it's enclosed, so you can stand up in it). As soon as they got to the very top, they stopped.

[Emma Confessional:
"I'm really afraid of heights. I always think something will go wrong and it freaks me out."]

Emma hyperventilated on the Ferris Wheel.

"What's wrong babe?" Jax asked.

"We're gonna fall. We're gonna fall and we're gonna die and I'm scared."

She cried into his shoulder and he stroked her hair.

"No, we're not. Everything is gonna be just fine. Don't be scared," he told her.

[Jax Confessional:
"Honestly, she was really adorable in that state."]

Sophie sat by the bar, stirring her drink with her straw. She looked at the ocean to see Sami having a great time.

[Sophie Confessional:
"Out of the kindness of my own heart, I decided to give Sami a rose so that he can have a chance to find love here. But we have no connection. Next week, I'm gonna have to let him down gently. I just can't figure out how to do it."]

Maddie walked up to her, noticing that she was down and out.

"Soph, what's wrong?" she asked her friend.

"Sami is a great guy, and he deserves the best, but there's no connection. I already gave him my rose, so him and I are safe, but I don't know how to tell him how I feel next week."

"Just be honest. I think that a girl will come and sweep him off his feet. Don't worry."

"Maybe you're right. Thanks Madd."

"Anytime, Soph."

They did their Panther handshake before Maddie walked off.

When Emma and Jax got off the Ferris Wheel, she was embarrassed.

"Emma, are you embarrassed or something?" Jax asked. She nodded.

"I was crying like a baby up there!"

"Don't worry Em. I thought it was cute," he told her.

She smiled. "You think so?"

"Absolutely." He kissed her briefly.

[Emma Confessional:
"When I'm with Jax, I feel really confident in us. I feel like we're gonna last forever."]

They didn't even have to go to dinner that night. Emma went right to the producer and asked that he give her the rose. He obliged. She then walked back to Jax.

"Jax, will you accept this rose?"

"Yes, of course," he said. He wrapped his arm around Emma as they walked back to the beach together.

Meanwhile, everyone was buzzing about the rose ceremony the next day. Kevin, however, wasn't excited.

[Kevin Confessional:
"I feel like I'm gonna go home tomorrow, and I'm not ready to do that. I'm just praying that someone will give me a chance to fall in love here."]

Dean felt the exact same way.

[Dean Confessional:
"If I don't get a rose tomorrow, I'll be devastated."]

The two made sure to say their prayers that night, that's for sure.
