I sat there and stared at the wall. That white, clean wall that mocked me and everything I did. It laughed at me everytime I did something to make a fool of myself, and it stared at me, screaming my name a hundred times a day. God I hated my name, oh I hated it so much, almost as much as I hated him... at least, I think I hate him.

"Emi." A loud voice sounded through my room and I turned slowly, knowing exactly who it was. I'd become atoned to that voice now. I've been around it for two weeks, why wouldn't I be used to it traveling into my room everyday. "What is it that you want you mortal fool?!" I spat at the site of him. Once again, I couldn't trust him, and I couldn't trust midgardians anymore. I certainly couldn't trust the midgardian men, and I know that first hand. I hated them. "You know I'm sorry, but I had to do it." He tried a smile, but it quickly faded. Smiles didn't really suit him, not to me, oh no they definately didn't suit him one bit.

"You know I had to play it safe, for the safety of everyone, even yourself." I looked him in the eye; do I dare venture into his mind and pick through his memories? Shall I use my powers and mess with him? I looked down at my hands for a moment, debating wether it'd be better to choke him instead. Yes, a voice sounded off in my head, one that was very familiar, yes I should. You should, you can't deny it, it's what you are, it's what we are, my child. My child... I jumped at the very thought. I hadn't even started to go through Nick's mind yet, and I'd already a horrible one stored in the back of my head. "L!" I squeeked, slumping to the floor.

I grabbed the sides of my head. How the hell were you able to get into my head Laufey?! How the hell were you even able to find me, or make that long lost connection?! For sure he must've known this all would happen.

That's right, I do know. His evil voiced toyed with my brain, bringing back all of those painful memories. I didn't want to see them! They were the memories that I had locked away never to be found... on purpose. Remember, my little angel, our world of ice... All the pain. He laughed in amusement. All that you want to be."Get out of my head!" I screamed, jumping up and hitting the wall with all my strength. Oh, God, that hurt too. My power was useless against this mocking wall, and it hurt; it ALL hurt.

"Nobody's in your head, Emi." He sighed, and I turned back around to look at him once more. Laufey had gone, and now it was just me and Nick in this room. As a matter of fact, there wasn't anyone in the room around this room either. Had I forgot to mention that the mocking wall was the only solid wall in the room? The rest was a glass that seemed overly bullet proof. Only my brother Thor could break through here... my brother Thor.

"Any ways, somebody is here to see you." He tried smiling again. "I don't want to see him," I spoke through my teeth. I was trying with all my power to rid my life of that man. The man I had actually began to trust... he had been the only man who blindsided me, and made a major mockery of me. Just like that dammed wall I so wished to destroy.

"Em!" That voice. "Get our of here." I spat at him, trying to resist. "I'm so glad I was able to come see you!" His face was cheery, and he had his arms spread open wide as if the intention of hugging me... of actually attempting to get near me. I growled at him.His smiled faded too, just as Nick's smile had. "Look, I'm sorry Em-"

"Don't call me that!"

"Okay.. It's just... how could you have expected me to have gone against the government? They'd have taken everything away from me, even you." His eyes seemed longing, and sad. Those just so happened to be the two emotions I was shocked he'd even had ingrained into his dna.

"I couldn't exactly let them take you away from me Emi; You're mine." Those words pierced my brain. You're mine... Impossible, I couldn't be his, I'm centuries in midgardian years, a teenager in Asgard. There was no way I could be his, just no way.

I looked up to Tony, who was now standing directly infront of me. "No." I hoped the words were like a slap in his face.  "I'm not yours, and I'm not Em. I am Emi, true daughter to Laufey, Odin's stolen relic, half sister of Loki, and I am certainly not yours." I slapped him in the face, good and hard, I'd be surprised if I hadn't broken it. It was now a bright red, and I began moving back a couple feet, back towards that mocking wall. I laughed a little, resembling that in which I used to laugh; just like Loki.

I smiled devishly at him as I pressed my back against it's cold surface. "I'm going to be just like Loki." I whispered, "world here I come!"

With that, a blast had blown throught the wall. I knew who it was, and I'd known that he'd come for me. "My sister!" He reached his hand out, and without hesitation, I took it. He smiled devislishly back at me. "I want this world! I want it to suffer! I want to prove that I am worth something!" I looked back at Tony, who seemed frozen with slight fear. "I want to prove to Laufey, and to Odin, and to that dreadful woman Frigga, that I am worthy to rule not only my world of ice, but I am worthy of taking the throne of Asgard as well!"

I laughed as my brother Quill had taken me up to his side and we made our great escape. Here we come Midgardians, prepare to die!

***

I looked at the hole in the wall, trying to take in what had just happened. "The hell Nick?!" I yelled back at him before running to see if this had all been some sort of trick. Or had the woman I loved truly gone mad?

"Tony!" I looked back at him as he motioned towards the door. I followed him down the hallway and met up with the others. Clint was there, Bruce was there and... Captain was there. God, how I hated calling him that; Captain. I pushed the very thought off and watched as Nick gave me that look. "I'm sorry, I know I promised, but we have to." I looked at him, slightly disappointed.

"You're crazy!" I yelled, hoping they'd all atleast hear me out. "You can't possibly hurt her! Unless of course you want me to commit suicide, or even destroy the planet?!" Clint shook his head at me, but Bruce kept his cool. "Sorry man," he patted my shoulder, almost as if he did feel sorry for me, "but we have to. I'll try my best to only graze her, but we can't just let her run rampid through the city with-him- that thing- whatever the hell he is." He frowned, looking down at his hands for a moment.

We both knew he was highly capable of shooting perfectly. Almost every arrow he had shot, never missed. But the task of avoiding her the best he could would only make things harder. "Please..." I muttered. Bruce shook his head. "No, I know what she is and I'm not going to let this one go." A look of anger and rage started spreading accross his face, and I hoped he wouldn't beat me to a pulp without my suit. "Anything related to that bastard, threatening to destroy any life whatso ever, I'm going to kill. I'm also going to kill that black haired Bradley Cooper she's begun running around with."

"No." Captain's voice headed over Bruce's, and he shoved his way between the two so that he had been standing infront of me. "We will not hurt her, Tony." A look of discomfort spread accross his face, and disappointment as well. "That's not Emi, she would never do that... atleast, the Emi we all know wouldn't do that. However, we cannot promise about the boy, or anyone else involved." I stared at him for a moment. Before all this, we had a burning hatred for one another, let's hope things went back to normal afterwards. He stuck his hand out infront, waiting for me to shake it. "Hell, where've I seen this before..." I muttered.

"We can only do this if you go with us. We need to work as a team... temporary truce?" I smiled back at him and took his hand. "Temporary Truce, but dammit, Nick don't get anyone else involved." The four of us turned to look at him. He had backed up a little and put his hands up in the air, "Hey, it wasn't by choice."
