I shut the door, hoping that Emi hadn't noticed I was back yet. We had just finished dealing with her father, Laufey, her biological father. Loki was there as well, causing alarm throughout all of us. But something about Loki had definately changed since we last met, otherwise the city of New York would've probably been torn to pieces by now.

"You should really keep your thought's from wandering so much." I looked on the couch, shit. She had been sitting there this whole time, and I'd not even noticed. She was definately going to kill me today. "Em, I'm sorry." She got up walked towards me. It felt different having her a few inches taller than she had been before our trip to Asgard. "It's okay," she wrapped her arms around my neck and gave me a light kiss. "I'm not mad, I'm just worried. My Ironman isn't hurt is he?" She chuckled a little and I pressed my forehead against hers. "Which you talking about? Me, or the suit?" I kissed her back.

"You silly." I loved that playful tone in her voice. I absolutely loved it. "Mm, how much time do we have until they get here?" I let her read my thoughts freely. I had nothing to hide from her, not from the love of my life. "Forty five minutes, maybe," I looked at my watch, just to confirm it. "That gives us enough time, right?" I smiled and closed my eyes, kissing her back. I knew what she wanted, and I wanted it too. "Should be." I managed between the shifting of kisses. I wrapped my arms around her and pulled her close. Her skin was still cold against mine.

I felt her tugging at my short brown hair. The living room wasn't the place. I can fix that. Emi sent another mind message to me and I watched as that green and silver mist formed around us, taking us away and into the dark room on the other side of the wall.

I stared up at the cieling, reminding myself that it was still daytime. I couldn't fall asleep, I shouldn't fall asleep. Tony said that the Avengers would be here any moment, out of uniform, with Loki and Makall. He also mentioned that something had harmed Makall and that my brother was devastated.

"I'm done with my shower!" He smiled, plopping down next to me. He was wearing a new set of clothes, a clean set. At least he didn't put on the same clothes he wore this morning when he had to put on his suit. "Mm... you smell nice." I teased, watching as he turned on his side. "Well, that's what happens when you take a shower. So will you go take your's now? I'll spray febreeze in the room or something." I agreed, hopping up and heading over to the bathroom. I actually liked it here on midgard, and I definately enjoyed my time with my love. To be honest, I was surprised Odin and mother Frigga allowed such a thing.

I would spend forever with him now. I looked back and smiled before shutting the door. They would all be here in only a matter of seconds, and I needed to hurry up, clean, and get dressed. I mean, I couldn't just walk around in Tony's T-shirt, with guests roaming aimlessly around. That would just be wierd.

           (Tony's POV)

I watched as they all filed in and down the hallway. Emi was in the back, watching her brother closely. "What is it that concerns you my brother?"

He looked up at her and stopped his pacing back and forth. She looked concerned, and I had to force myself to stay back. She hadn't seen him in years, and it would be a bad idea to anger Loki at this point. "My lady is..." he looked down at his feet, and she patted him on the back. "She will be alright, brother... and... I have seen a change in you. If this one, Makell, had been strong enough to change your ways, then surely she can pull through this." He looked back up at her, frowning. It looked like he was a little boy about to cry. I'd never seen him like this.

"You are right, Emi... and, I see that you are different?" I bit my lip. Stay back, don't say anything, you'll only hurt the both of them. "Yes, there are... many things different, and I'm sure you already know what it is., and I donot need to be your focus at the moment. Every thing is going to be alright... everything is going to be perfectly fine."

Yes, Loki was a changed man, and Emi was a changed lady. But that doesn't mean I should stop everything and be over protective of Emi. Although, it was hard not to be after what had happened both today, and with Quill. "Loki," he looked at me now, "I promise that everything is going to be fine. I keep my word to you, as I see you truly are a changed man."
