Chapter Six: The Rise of Anne

Anne's POV:
It has been a few months since i found out I was pregnant everyone was giving me rest , Katherine was over joyed with happiness knowing this could save my life even my father was more proud of me than he had ever been before. Things hadn't changed though Jane remained at the kings side and I just know I wasn't safe , The Seymour's would much prefer their daughter to be on the throne so they would probably go to extreme lengths to make sure that happens. Henry visited me everyday and even spent the night as he wanted me to give birth, Henry was happy to hear i was pregnant again but he didn't want to get his hopes up I could see it in his eyes that he was worried.

George rushed into my changers panting , I looked at him confused "yes brother?" I asked wondering why the sudden burst into my changers.

"Katherine is marrying Charles! By order of the king " George spoke as he breathed heavily.

"What? Why would he do such things ?" I asked worried for my friend.

"Think about it Anne if you lose this baby or give him another girl you will surely die for it , If Katherine marries Charles she has to be faithful to the King always and if she isn't he can have her head." He frowned.

".....he has no faith in me." I sat down rubbing my baby bump as I looked up at him.

"What about Jane?" I asked wondering if she was pregnant, he gave me a smirk and nodded making me smile happily.

"Soon it will be impossible to hide it " George said brightly "now we just wait...."

Henry's POV:
Anne was with child again, That woman never fails to surprise me that was for sure, But if Anne had a son .....then all my prayers would be answered , Something was going on at court with the Seymour's I had noticed and now keeping a close eye on them, Jane had been avoiding me alot when she sees me she looks scared ,  since the day we heard about Anne's pregnancy i just knew Edward wasn't happy I over heard them talking about how bad this was for their family I didn't like it but I can't give away my cover as they haven't really committed any crimes either way.

I had called Jane to my chambers, she walked in curtseying unable to look at me or look me in the eyes i sighed as I walked over to her lifting her chin to look at me, she seemed scared but why?

"Jane....I've heard rumours about you at court with George....what's this about?" I asked wanting the truth she immediately fell to her knees crying and begging for forgiveness.

"Please forgive me your majesty...but I'm with child with his baby" she held my hand kissing it softly, I was outraged completely I wanted to punch something she was supposed to become my wife and betrayed me but then an idea came to me.

"You want mercy?" I asked looking down upon her playing this to my advantage.

"Yes your majesty." She spoke without hesitation.

"Spy on your family i worry they may be trying to get rid of Anne.... " I sighed as I looked at the locket of Anne's portrait inside it and sighed.

"You want me to deceive my family?" Jane spoke her tone sad at such a request I nodded.

"Yes I do because if anything happens to this baby i will hold your family guilty of it! And you can join them with your head cut off if you don't agree do you understand?!" I yelled impatiently making her flinch she then nodded.

"Yes your majesty...." She spoke softly.

Jane's POV:
I went to my chambers after my talk with the King , I saw my family taking unhappily taking of Anne no doubt and about her pregnancy, it was to late now either way I was pregnant if Anne passed away or wasn't Queen the King would never have me as his wife now. My father looked at me as did Edward nodding their heads giving me permission to listen to their conversation, I walked over taking a seat at the table as they resumed their discussion.

"This isn't good for us at all." My father exclaimed pacing around back and forth.

"If she gives him a son our chances will be ruined, surely we can get rid of it somehow?" Edward ask trying to calm my father , he nodded in agreement.

"We can try slip some poison to her somehow." My father responded as if already thinking of ways how to.

"Wait a minute. What you guys discuss is treason!" I spoke clearly as i know this would have them killed.

"It's your only hope! Our only hope Jane!" My father yelled.

"Queen Anne will miscarriage again and she will die for it " Edward smiled as he pictured it , I leaned back as i pitted Anne scared for her life as she meant a great deal to George ....he would be so heartbroken i know it would kill him.....

Katherine's POV:
I was in my chambers arguing with Charles my fiance the man I would be marry under the Kings orders, I was fighting with him as it was his idea and I knew it, his recent wife just passed away and he was in need of a new one. He stood behind me as I stood at the window looking outside trying to calm myself with the scenery, It failed as i hear him speak "This is what the King wants Katherine. You will be my wife soon like it or not and as my wife I expect respect.".

I laugh as I turn around to look at him seeing him stand all tall and mighty, I walk over to him as I made eye contact with him before speaking.

"it was your suggestion if you didn't suggest it i wouldn't be in these matters! You want me to be your wife as it forces me to be faithful to the King as you all believe that Queen Anne can't concieve a heir, well your grace!" I spat before continuing "Anne is pregnant! You all doubt her but just you wait she will give the king an heir ! Making you regret everything you done to her! So tell me your Lord are you prepared? Because i promise you this Anne will show no mercy."
