Shiho's POV
Shiho: As we're walking to Creature Basics class, we make some jokes and got to know Jasmine a little bit. 'So Jasmine how is it that your brother and mom are Dragon Slayers and you are a Wolf Slayer?'
Jasmine: From our great grandfather on our mom's side he was a Wolf Slayer, as for my element that's random.
Jushido: What's your element?
Jasmine: My element is Celestial.
Ikrir: No one can figure out why because our mom's side never had that element at all, I say it's from our dad but mom won't talk about it.
Shiho: Oh, anyways here it is Creature Basics class, shall we?
Ikrir: Sure.
The group walks into class and finds the teacher waiting for the whole class to be here.
Ikrir: Are we the first ones again?
The teacher looks at the group and studies Jushido and Ikrir then the girls.
Teacher: Welcome please have a seat where ever you like.
Shiho: Thank you, don't mind us.
The group sits at the table in the back, then a few minutes later more groups of students start coming into class.
Jushido: I wonder what we're going to learn on the first day?
Ikrir: Probably the basics I don't know let's just play it by ear.
As the rest off the class came into the room the teacher handed out an outline.
Teacher: For this outline write what you know about the creature that relates to your magic and turn it in by Thursday, my suggestion is to get started today you have this whole period to get a head start, you may talk but not so loud and before you ask yes you can use your scrolls to listen to music.
Ikrir: Thank you...?
Ms.Seven: Oh I'm Ms Seven.
Ikrir: Nice to meet you Ms.Seven, I'm Ikrir.
Ms.Seven: Yes I'm aware I expect great things from you and your sister.
Jasmine: Wait do you know our mom?
Ms.Seven: I use to work with your mom hunting down the Crimson Peak Dragons.
Jushido: The Crimson Peak Dragons?, I thought those were a myth.
Ms.Seven: They are now, but when we were hunting them they didn't even put up a fight, they'd just accepted their death.
Ikrir: Well that's weird but anyway what slayer are you Ms.Seven?
Ms.Seven: Oh I'm a Dragon Slayer.
Ikrir: Just like me and my mom that's awesome!
Shiho: This day has been full of surprises.

Ikrir's POV
As I leave first period, I look at my schedule and see that my second class is Combat Training "great", I thought to myself if I wasn't so sore from my duel I would find pleasure in it because I could show my skills but I can't. As I'm in the hallway heading to class I pass the school bulletin board and I see one of the flyers say something about 'The 23rd Annual Tournament: Team tryouts are after school' I texted my mom and told her that I'm going to be at tryouts and then headed to class. When I got to class I saw few other classmates, but one stood out and it was this boy that looked the same age as me, an inch taller than me and with raven colored hair, and a dragon cross necklace just like me, I gave him a look and walked to an empty seat and sat down waited for the teacher to get to class. The teacher joined us waiting students, "Good morning class, today we'll be doing sparring matches one-on-one I will assign the matches so you don't find a partner that you think is weak." She said as fixes her hair into a ponytail. So she put the matches on the board I saw my name and I'm going to be facing Storm Velheir, and I couldn't wait but I had to since I was the fifth match.
Storm's POV
I change into my gym clothes and wait to have my match with this kid named Ikrir Daihere, and I thought to myself "If I beat him then I be the strongest dragon slayer in the school."
